He was the Defensive Coordinator then, so what does that matter? Their defense has been nasty and loaded with talent the past few years. The only problem they ever had was that the offense absolutely blew and they could never beat NC State.

I think Chuck Heater, (D.C. at Temple/coached under Urban at Florida), would be a very very solid candidate.

Depends on how you look at it. Played at Michigan and is 5th leading rusher all-time. Either a slap in the face of Michigan that we have a former player coaching or we're harboring the enemy.

Agreed! I don't question his professionalism, but i would question his passion to beat his alma mater though.

He coached under Earle Bruce at OSU, so it may not be far fetched to think he'd come to OSU again.

Is this guy a lock, or is still being worked on? I think I seen somewhere yesterday that he would be coming to cbus but I jump around so many sport sites throughout the day that I don't remeber where the hell I seen that at.
