Buckeyes Remain 2nd in Both Polls

Voters do have brains as they don't punish the Buckeyes for losing in Lawrence without their best player. (USA Today)

Is this truly correlated to voters having brains? I was thinking that it was more of an oversight by the voters, as they forgot to drop tOSU in the rankings. #amirite?

Cool move by the voters, but the idea that Syracuse is #1 is laughable at best. Ohio State, Kentucky, and North Carolina are the three best teams in the nation and it's really not even close.

Glad to see common sense prevail.

The Big Ten now has 6 teams ranked in the top 25 (OSU, Wisky, IU, Ill, scUM, MSU). This conference doesn't suck.

I watched the game with a friend (that is a huge KY fan) and he predicted this ... my resppnse was that a team that loses always gets dropped, even if they probably shouldn't.

Not that this matters in the least, but it's cool to see it.

Personally, we looked much worse offensively than I would have thought without Sully.  Thad better get Sully some minutes on the bench during the year so the fellas figure out how to play without him, because if/when he gets in foul trouble and has to sit or fouls out, we are not good enough to win a game 3 or 4 deep in the tourney ... and let's face it, that's the realistic goal of this team.
