Does anyone else find it curious that ESPN and SI still have no mention of this on their main sites? Earlier in the week when Mr. Rife pleaded guilty (which everyone knew he would do), one of their top stories was labeled "Ohio State Tattoo Parlor Owner Guilty".

Eh, there's enough gray area, ambiguity, and plausible deniability in this for Kelly to survive. Color me not surprised. This scandal isn't big enough, and Oregon is relevant enough, to take the heat off of OSU.

after reading the article, i am 100% certain that Oregon is dirty. if i were ESPN or SI my next step after all of this would be to check out LSU. Why was the mom, with all of her issues, set on forcing the kid to LSU. I doubt she had his best interest in mind and i am sure there was something dirty taking place there as well.

If tOSU is going down, we are going to take everybody down with us. none of the top schools are 100% clean. With so many coaches moving around and so many "scorned and used" people, it should be easy to find dirt on any top level program.

Well, it may not be on ESPN's website, but it's on the bottom line and you can bet it's going to be on Sportcenter quite a bit. I think it's hilarious that Lyles just said eff you to Oregon today. Ignore me, don't pay me, well eff you guys I'm going to sell this story then. If I'm LSU, Ok State, Texas, Tennessee, Auburn, and every other school this guys' name is connected to, I'm extremely nervous right now.

The rumor was this summer an article was coming out that was essentially going to sink a school. Oregon was tops on the list. Now that Lyles has been pissed off by Oregon and is starting to talk, I think we may start seeing this school was infact Oregon.

Other schools that have dealt with this guy are now in the crosshairs and they are damned if they do damned if they don't. Oregon wasn't paying the guy because all eyes were on them. He didn't get paid and he started talking. If other schools owe this guy money, they'll either pay and get caught or he'll start talking. In my opinion we're going to start getting a lot of headlines with his name attached to every one of them.

this will be a real test for ESPN and should be massive. there is no way this doesn't wreck the entire football program and athletic department at Oregon.

i can't wait for the logical explanation for how LaMichael James, who is so dumb he couldn't graduate High School in Texas so HE MOVED OUT OF STATE to Arkansas is now a Pac10 All Academic athlete!?! The question now is, how many people knew all of his grades were not legit?

Hard for me to believe this is the 10/10 Wetzel was quoted as saying was coming this summer, but since I see Wetzel & Robinson on the article ... I guess it could be?

I don't know that this article is the 10/10, but I have a feeling this could be the start of the trouble for Oregon. At the very least there are going to be recruiting violations. Remember how all of the Buckeye trouble started? 1 little story that a couple of guys may have gotten tattos for free.

This could be the first domino to really fall. Now that they got a source happy to spill his guts, it could take off from here.

It appears there was a legitimate cover-up going on at Oregon. Anxious to see how the media-both local and national-react. Also, I thought the 10/10 piece might be Texas.

Oh, and I am willing to concede that the SEC really IS the best conference......at cheating. Those bastards never get caught.

I just pray to the football gods that OSU is in no way associated with this fool. I want to see some other programs get their balls put in a vice for a change.
