Can't recall the situation surrounding his transfer. Was he dismissed for "team rules" violations or just bitter for playing time? Something else?

Thats correct.. I think the pressure of jeremie simmons and pj hill breathing down his neck on the depth chart caused him to bolt (gasp). Weird times. His AAU coach was a garbage influence in his life if I remember correctly, trying to sell out Thad that noopy was promised the starting position as a freshman.
Didn't he get busted for possession once he transferred?
After OSU got demolished by WVU at home in Dec. of 2008, Noopy took his ball and went home. He was getting very little playing time and yes, his mom/AAU coach said Thad "promised" him the starting PG position, but he couldn't beat out Simmons. Then when he got down to USF, he was busted doing his best Santonio Holmes impersonation, smoking the reefer in a car. I'm guessing the violations he was dismissed for has some thing to do with his consistent weed flavored urine.
