I know, we're all excited about tomorrow. But I read some of your guys' posts, and all I see is "MSU is a better team than last year." Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they aren't, but where's the support for our Buckeyes?

Yes TTUN State is a better team, but so is Ohio State. Sparty's D is better than last year. Well OSU's offense is better than last year.

Last year, Michigan State allowed 16.3 points per game, this year they are allowing only 11.75 points per game. It is very impressive, but not as impressive as the improvement of the Buckeye offense.

Last year, Ohio State averaged 37.2 points per game, this year they average 48.2 points per game.

Also last year, tOSU turned the ball over 3 times and Miller got hurt, and when they put Kenny G in, I don't think he even threw the ball once. This year, the Bucks have taken much better care of the ball and Miller is a much better quarterback. You also have Hyde on the hot-streak of his life.

Also the defense for tOSU was playing pretty good until last Saturday. That was a total fluke game by the TTUN offense, mainly because I don't think the Buckeyes came fully prepared on defense for that game.

One last thing is, I think Luke Fickell is kind of getting the shaft with all of the "Fire Fickell" chants. Against TTUN there were plenty of chances for the D-line to take Gardner down behind the line, he was surrounded quite a few times, but he escaped and made a play. I'm not saying that it's not Fickell's fault at all, because it mostly is, like not spotting all of the screen passes that they were throwing, or rushing only 3 linemen, etc. But there were times where they had Gardner, but let him get away and it almost cost them their perfect season. I also expect MSU to do kind of the same thing with pulling out the bag of tricks, hopefully this time they'll be better prepared for it.

Anyways, it'll all be alright. It's going to be a helluva game tomorrow, my prediction is that it's tied at halftime and the Bucks start to pull away in the 2nd half. Final score Ohio State 34 Michigan State 21. And they'll be off to Pasadena to take on Florida State or Auburn or Missouri or Northern Illinois.

I'm not even going to watch the game tomorrow because according to the guys on BTN the Buckeyes won't be able to score on their defense or stop their offense.

I definitely agree that OSU has the upper hand in this game and should win by more than one score, but the improvements of the Spartan D and Buckeye O have been very nearly equal statistically.  The Spartan D is allowing 28% percent fewer points than they did in 2012 while the Buckeye offense has been scoring about 23% more points per game than they did in the 2012 season.  Any way you put it it's a great matchup between two outstanding units, I think the silver bullets step up though and force some turnovers to get OSU out to a big lead.

It's a do or die game. Those games just make people think crazy things.

I really think that we can talk about stats all we want but it is going to be decided on the field. Do the games always go according to what stats you have going into the game? Not always... I am Super stoked for this game and cant wait to watch it. That being said lets just support our Buckeyes and be confident that they will win this game.

B.I.N.G.O.
1) MSU's defense hasn't seen anything like Brax and Roll Hyde
2) MSU's offense doesn't have the talent scUM's offense has
24-10, Buckeyes

MSU has been talking for weeks about nothing but going to the Rosebowl.  This is their national championship tonight.  With that said, usually when you go to MSU you are playing for an Outback bowl birth.  I think the stage may be too big for them.  Kids come to Ohio State just for this game.  Buckeyes will be focused and I'd be shocked if they don't come out of this one with the W.

People forget we beat them last year, with a very strong D, without any kind of offense. Imagine what happens now since we have an O.

I wasn't born a Buckeye but I became one as fast as I could.

Last years game.....it was early in the year....all were struggling with the new offense and new staff. not this year.....Sparty has no answer....Buckeyes roll!!!

Last year's game was last year.  I think MSU is better than last year.  They wouldn't be 12-1 if they were the same as last year's 7-6 team.
