An odd mix of mostly seniors and freshmen, the Buckeyes returned to the top spot in the nation by beating Penn State at home Saturday after Duke lost at Florida State on Wednesday.

I'm proud of our "odd mix".
They are something to be proud of alright. I figured we'd be pretty good this year, but I never thought we'd be numero uno type of good. This freshman class is pretty good and next year's class will only add to it!
I knew this team was going to be pretty good. They had a lot of quality upperclassman with a lot of experience coming back and some great freshman talent. I love that they have had some close battles already too, and that they have won a couple big games on the road. This team is really becoming a battle tested team. They, so far, have a perfect formula for success in March. Excited to see where this team can go from here.
