The bowl games that I didn't get correct were:
New Mexico- Had no clue
Las Vegas- Thought it was EA Sports
Holiday- Pacific Life
Sun- Brut
Gator- Toyota
It's interesting how some company names sound better/stay in your memory better than others.
For me it will always be the Toyota Gator Bowl and Brut Sun Bowl.

Literally only got the Fiesta right.

The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...

You know, we can't have a bigger playoff because of the integrity and history of these bowl games.

Missed six, partly because I flipped Bell Helicopter and Northrop-Grumman. Figured EA made sense for Las Vegas because I've never heard of Royal Purple, and had no clue whatsoever on the New Mexico, Sun or Holiday bowls.

I got them all right.

The sponsors change so often it's tough to keep up.

I wasn't born a Buckeye but I became one as fast as I could.

I missed 3.  Vizio must be spending a shit ton.
Also as a member of a credit union I would be pissed if mine sponsored a bowl game.  This kind of advertising expense goes against the CU mission.

Vizio sponsors two bowl games because the Championship game is being played at the Rose Bowl.
When the BCS NCG was played at the Orange Bowl Discover sponsored both, Sugar Bowl had Allstate twice and when it was at the Fiesta Bowl Tostitos "double dipped".
I don't know if they have to spend more to sponsor both. It might be one of the perks for sponsoring one of the big four bowl games.

Didn't realize that thanks.

OK, I give.  What in the hell is a Royal Purple?

I was hoping it was a new drink: Crown Royal and Purple drink.

I like grape drink.

Who cares....Just play ball!!!!  :-)
The game would be brought to us by a mix of other advertisers if it wasn't for these monopolies buying up the Air time!!!!  I am not for big business and would rather watch advertising from real American's and their respective start up companies and family owned companies.  Forget money and politics...

Bucks777's picture

When you look at the billions or hundreds of millions of dollars being spent on advertising spots on the TV it is a SIN, You could take all that money and we would sweep the streets clean of homeless people here in America.  Unless you think it more important to watch these commercials, then feed, clothe, and home people. Especially Veterans

Bucks777's picture

This is exactly what's wrong with America!  People feeding on the flesh of sinful nature. Everyone has a reason for why to advertise, and how it helps salses. People ultimately will buy or purchase a product based on price, value, and does it work.  Ticket prices soar, food prides skyrocket, etc...

Bucks777's picture

If these companies have this much money to spend on advertising, something is amiss in America.

Merry CHRISTmas to all !!!

Go Bucks!!!!

UniWatch does a piece on the bowls each year and usually refer to them in the generic, such as "Branded Activewear Bowl"

Never heard of Royal Purple. Is that what Kate Middleton calls Prince William's johnson?
