Another week and another opponent's defensive stats get flipped upside down.

It's always interesting to see how a team's stats change after playing Ohio State.

Below you will be able to compare Iowa's stats before playing and after playing Ohio State.

The Hawkeyes were able to improve statistically in Passing Offense (+5.1 ypg) and Red Zone Scoring (+.016 ppg).

Iowa took major hits in Rushing Offense (- 31.1 ypg) and Rushing Defense (-26.0 ypg).

This play by Carlos Hyde did not help Iowa's defensive stats.

Interestingly, Wisconsin and Northwestern had similar results to their defense after playing Ohio State.

Will the same happen to Penn State on Saturday night?

Iowa, is Ohio State still your daddy?

After winning 13 of the last 14 games in the series you bet your sweet ass they are.

Earle,
Thank you for the kind words and reading the articles.

Wow, won't be surprised if Iowa #20 is on the DL this week with a broken ankle. Brax's jumpstop-then-accelerate move just caused my company 10 minutes of wasted productivity.
