Another week and another opponent's stats get flipped upside down.

It's always interesting to see how a team's stats change after playing Ohio State.

Below you will be able to compare Illinois' stats before playing, and after playing, Ohio State.

When facing a team like Illinois that ranks near the bottom of the NCAA stats it is difficult to make a dent against their terrible stat line. After yesterday's game the Illini fell backwards in nine out of 16 statistical categories.

Illinois' defense was allowing just under 260 yards of rushing and just under 494 yards of total offense a game.

Carlos Hyde (246) and Braxton Miller (334) combined for 580 of Ohio State's 591 total yards of offense.

Ohio State's rushing offense was able to rack up 441 yards against an Illini defense that was allowing 239.6 yards per game.

The Buckeyes were also able to put up 60 points, 25.3 points more than the Illinois average allowed.

Although Illinois was able to have positive gains in seven statistical categories they were minimal gains.

The bright spot for the Illini was the punt returns. Bentley's punt return for a touchdown bumped the Illini from 27th to 12th in the nation in punt returns.

Ohio State's defense still has not allowed an opposing player to gain over 100 yards rushing.

The most important stat? Ohio State 60,  Illinois 35

Illinois, is Ohio State still your daddy?

After scoring the most points in the series' history, you bet your sweet ass they are.
