Buffalo finished the 2012 season with a 4-8 record.

Buffalo's strengths last season were on the defensive side of the ball.

Led by linebacker Khalil Mack's 8 sacks the defense ranked 15th in the nation averaging 2.83 sacks per game.

The Bulls defense had 79 tackles for loss and 34 sacks last season.

In 2012 Ohio State gave up 30 sacks. Buffalo's defense should be a decent litmus test for Braxton Miller and the offensive line to see if the Buckeyes have improved..

Buffalo's defense is anchored by two-time first team All-MAC linebacker Khalil Mack and Colby Way.

Mack hopes to add to these impressive career numbers against the Buckeyes:
178.5 tackles, 18 sacks, 56 tackles for loss, 11 forced fumbles, 14 pass breakups, 25 QB hurries and 2 blocked kicks.

Buffalo enters the 2013 season looking to improve their scoring offense (99th in the country) and passing offense (95th).

The Bulls allowed their quarterback to be sacked 27 times last season.

Did this this morning.
I will have it posted earlier next week.
A certain Countdown ate up over 3 hours a night the 30 days or so.
I will also do this for key games of the week.

Yeah, I don't think anyone is happier that game day is here than you... that's a lot of work.

Interesting to see that Ohio State was pretty close to their 2012 average in points per game (40 vs. 37.2), held Buffalo to pretty close to the average points allowed (20 vs. 22.8), and pretty close to the Bulls average points scored per game (20 vs. 21.3).
