During his senior year, he was one of Ohio State's six captains.

The Catch

During the 2010 Rose Bowl, he made a critical catch that helped Ohio State beat Oregon. In the 4th quarter with nine minutes remaining Ohio State up 19-17 facing 3rd and 13 from their own 45, Ballard, while being surrounded by several Oregon defenders, jumped and caught a high pass thrown by Terrelle Pryor for 24 yards and a critical first down. The drive concluded with the game-clinching touchdown that put Ohio State up 26-17, which would be the final score.

Ballard's Super Bowl experience per Wikipedia:

Ballard played in Super Bowl XLVI but left in the second half with a torn ACL in his left knee. After leaving the field, he attempted to run and cut on the sideline, but collapsed unable to reach full speed. Jeff Heuerman's 2013 Team Guide Bio:

Jeff Heuerman is not only an outstanding football player, he is an outstanding athlete ... his vertical leap of 36.5 inches is the second-highest on the team ... he can bench press 225 pounds a team-leading 33 times ... on the gridiron, Heuerman is coming into his own as a blocking, receiving and route running force at the tight end position for the Buckeyes ... this true junior has played in 23 games over the past two seasons and he started nine times last season, including in each of the Buckeyes final seven games ... he has nine career receptions for 119

First Touchdown

yards and one score ... his first collegiate touchdown came against Nebraska last year, an 18-yard reception from Braxton Miller to give the Buckeyes a 21-17 lead in a game they would win, 63-38 ... also caught a career-long 35-yard pass against the Cornhuskers for the first multi-reception game of his career ... Heuerman's biggest catch isn't among his nine career catches, though ... it was an undefeated-season-saving two-point conversion reception that allowed the Buckeyes to tie Purdue, 22-all, and send the game into overtime ... Heuerman played and lettered as a true freshman in 2011 after enrolling at Ohio State in January of that year and competing in spring drills ... he played in 11 games and made his first collegiate catch in the Gator Bowl, a 25-yard gain.

Remy you are the absolute man. As a side note, here is my favorite Mitch Hedberg standup routine. My buddies and I used to laugh about this all the time in my high school days.
