I have thought about this myself for several years. I believe Indiana has or is also implementing a similar plan.

Apparently to make a post I need at least 100 words but I really have nothing more to say, read the article for yourself and sort your waste.

Lots of things get wasted at Ohio Stadium:
1. Purdue
2. Illinois
3. Money
4. Me
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
It's a very good idea, but saying 'zero waste' is a horrible misrepresentation of what they're trying to do. Calling things 'green' is lame too, but I suppose it's not so flashy to say 'we're going to make sure the waste generated is 1) recyclable or compostable and 2) disposed of properly so that we can lessen our carbon footprint.'
And it won't do a damn thing about all the garbage strewn about from tailgates.
Still, it's a great idea and a good first step.
Taquitos.
