I just finished up watching Brady Hoke's introductory speech as the new head coach at Michigan. I thought I'd share my findings with you, if you don't mind.
He only spoke for six minutes before opening it up for questions. But in those six minutes, he did the following;
- Said "uhhh" 42 times (yes I counted. And that's also 7 "uhhhs" per minute)
- Repeatedly mentioned "that school in Ohio". Brady, you're still saying the state name. Fail. But at least you're trying to emulate the master, so that's something.
- Refenced "touching kids" twice. It was kinda creepy.
- Nearly cried.
Thank you, God. Just thank you.
If it turns out that he's a huge fan of Josh Grobin, and his wife was wearing a leopard print dress to the press conference, it's a virtual gold mine. Or if he mentions that he used to live in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

Well, he'll have plenty of time for living in a van down by the river when...he's...living in a van down by the river!!
Not exactly "...in 310 days..." material, eh?
he referenced "touching people" in the interview with gus
"That school in Ohio" could have been Toledo as well.
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
Is there anyone outside of Toledo who would immediately think of Toledo?
I spent a week in Toledo one day.

Hence, Painter's joke. Don't waste the flavor.
