I know it may seem blasphemous to want to listen to anything other than Across the Field, Buckeye Battle Cry, and Hang on Sloopy on a 3 song loop for gameday, but I humbly come to you proposing an alternative!
OSU marching band alumnus, jazz studies graduate, current trumpet player for OAR, and former i dotter Jon Lampley (or as I affectionately know him, Tuba Gooding, Jr) has arranged and produced an album of our favorite Buckeye tunes, but with his unique twist! The album was released last week and is available at select retailers such as Station 88 in the Ohio Union! And iTunes. He is working on broadening the amount of locations.
Do yourself a favor and get this album! Trust me, you will not regret it, even if you are not the biggest fan of jazz music, it is great for tailgates and on a low level during games. It is also a great way to support a Buckeye, a great friend of mine, an incredible musician, and to increase your love for our Buckeye football squadron (if at all possible)!

I like "Bomb Ann Arbor Now" myself. But if you're going for hilarious lyrics, check out "Stukas over 23", (23 being High Street). I cry tears of laughter every time I read it.
Those are all good, but I'm partial towards "Chad Henne is a Motherfucking Joke" and "Wide Left: The Ballad of Mike Lantry." Come to think of it, "Buckeye Surfer Girl" is probably the only song I am inclined to skip. They need to make a new album!
From what I understand there's new music coming for the Hate Bowl. I think 11W should have a large group go to the Hate Bowl and show our Buckeye Pride. Maybe WE can all entice Bo Biafra to come out of hiding and show to ETB3???

Do you know how recent this was released? In the HBO documentary on the OSU vs. Michigan rivalry, they played the a jazz version of the "Across the field" when talking about OSU fans.
