A nice article about Aaron Craft on ESPN, written by Wayne Drehs.
I don't know if anyone else has had a chance to read this, but this is an incredibly well written article on Aaron Craft. A must read. I have been a fan of his since he came to tOSU. It seems that finally the national press is starting to see the same thing the rest of the B1G has been seeing for the past three years.
AC gets a lot of grief on the road and at home from “fans”. What he does not get enough of, is credit for what he brings to the game.
Given his on court efforts, it is amazing what he does off court as well. This article cracks the door open a little bit for us outsiders to see what it takes to succeed on and off the college basketball court and what a fine person AC is.

I do not have the chance to go to many games live, and never have been to a road game. I had no idea how much effort is put into making life hard on the court for a visiting player could be, if the player let it. This is a pretty nice tribute to a young man that will be remembered for many years after he graduates from tOSU. He definitely has given a great deal to the both the sports, and his community as a whole.

When anyone bitches about why Matta didn't offer Burke please point to Craft. He's close to becoming my all time favorite buckeye b ball player.

I am sorry that I missed that, I did not want to post something that was already out there. looks like I failed at that.
Mea culpa, this was my first attempt at posting anything.

Not a big deal at all, Boxley!
The idiot that covers MSU that says that Craft is overrated because he's white has it all wrong. Since AC got onto the scene a couple years back, I've always appreciated his game, particularly his defense, and not once has it ever crossed my mind that it's because of his skin color. Aaron Craft is a ball player, period.
His defensive effort makes him standout but the kid has skills, exclamation point!

The ESPN article is both live, and in print and goes into that aspect of why some fans "hate" AC.
When I read the article I thought it was on par with Ramzy's quality of work, written with the ability to humanize AC from a close friend perspective, not from that of a sports commentator.
As ATXBUCKNUT pointed out, this article was already out on the 11W forum and I just missed it. sorry if it struck anyone as redundant .

Always good to get buckeye love
I don't have a shot at seeing Craft live either living in outside D.C., but am I reading this right? That some BUCKEYE fans have disdain for Craft?
Someone enlighten me on that logic...or if I've misunderstood what's stated above.
His skin color/rosy cheeks are of no point to me. This is a hard nosed, smart kid who hustles on the court and off.
Aside from a few games where I'd wish he'd chip in more point-wise, I'm glad he's a good guy. And I think he's going to make a difference come tourney time.
Rare tip of the hat to ESPN for a nice write up, and thanks to Boxley for sharing.

The article is about the disdain fans of other B1G teams (and other teams around the country) have for Craft. I'm not sure there are too many Buckeye fans who don't like him. I think we're all in agreement that he's a rock star.
Got it, ups on the clarification and AC rockstar consensus.

I feel a little better about this post, as now all of the majors are carrying the story, to include a nice portion of 11W's Friday skully.
I think we will really miss AC in the years to come and all other point guards for the next several years are going to be compared to and weighed against his tOSU legacy.
It really is nice to see a tOSU athlete on the top BB stage get some national recognition in a positive manner.

I love how Craft said he hated Paulus when he played at Duke. Thought that was ironic.
I guess I've been living in a Buckeye bubble, because I didn't even realize Craft was widely disliked by opposing fanbases.
I know what Drehs is saying about the "Duke type," but I always associate those guys with self-conscious displays of phony hustle and emotion to attract the cameras. I don't really see Craft doing much of that. He's got genuine game.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
I object to the headline. sEcPN is incapable of producing a great article.
Aaron Craft is a stud! IMHO
Go Buckeyes
He is finally getting good recognition, and his play this past week upped that another notch. Read on a article posted today on 11W, that Crean got in his face and essentially threatened him at the end of the Indiana game.
I really want the bucks to get another shot at Indiana yet this season and shut them down again.

Crean is such a tool. He really showed his ass on that maneuver. I hope they bounce in the second round.
