definitely wishing i had graduated already. shame, hope y'all find who youre looking for.
here's a question/suggestion that im sure you've already thought of: would any of the current 11w staffers be upgraded to a full timer? It seems like that would guarantee the highest quality candidate, although I'm sure there's a good reason (i.e. not wanting to throw away your current job, which of course is probably the smartest thing to do anyway).
Regardless, good luck!
ANYONE can apply, including current members of the staff
gotcha, thanks. sorry for speaking without any type of knowledge on what i was talking about haha
except for me, i'm too handsome to be a beat writer
I hope there are a ton of qualified applicants. This job deserves a stud/studette. Excited to see it all take shape.
vacuuming sucks
I say we bring in Miles Finch.
HA! Love This!
"I'll fire when I'm god damn good and ready! You got that?" - Pete "Maverick" Mitchel
This is an idea that I'm particularly psyched out of my mind about.
Taquitos.
I gotta admit attending and reporting on tOSU athletics sounds like a lot of fun, although I'm sure it's a lot of work as well. Too bad I'm not qualified.
@BUCKSFAN The Miles Finch?!? haha

Bassplayer thinking just like you, would be a fun job if i was qualified. But journalism and english are not my forte at all! Good luck to who ever gets the job.
I don't like the idea of an "impartial" reporter. I want my buckeye info from a die-hard. Maybe Bo Biafra is available?
it's more so just someone not having a complete bias where the reporting is not realistic...at the end of the day we're all Buckeye fans, we just have to have a level head when writing sometimes....
I, for one, do not want it coming from a die-hard. Being a fan is welcomed, but like 11W is saying, someone who can look at things objectively. I think that is the nitch blogs like 11W fill. They openly provide a fan's perspective (so they're not like reporting you'd get from the media), but it is measured enough that it still can be insightful (unlike forums and blogs that aren't done as well).
I think you guys forgot one requirement. "Must be a die-hard Buckeye supporter (but maintain objectivity)".
"It's just another case of there you are". ~ Doc (1918-2012)
But then how would we hire Dohrmann?
Mark May would like consideration as well.
Joking aside, excited to see this becoming a reality. Good luck to the applicants.
I've been waiting on this day for awhile now--I. want.this.job.....Now I just have to figure out if it's best to go the traditional route (i.e., cover letter, resume, yada yada) or if I should try to go all grassroots style on the comments across the site from now 'til April 20 in my attempt to garner a huge groundswell of support....decisions, decisions....
Just be yourself. Good luck.
I heard Craig James might be looking for a job

That's only if 11w doesn't look into your past and find that you may have KILLED 5 HOOKERS WHILE ON CAMPUS AT SMU.
-The Aristocrats!
I'd consider applying, but I don't think I can do the requisite Tim May accent.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Hire Mark Titus and pay him all the money.
Would be a huge pick up for eleven warriors.com and bring a sense of legitness to it all.
Insider knowledge combined with first hand experiences. People would come from miles away.
