We'll always have this.

You'll want to sit down for this news. South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is declaring for the 2014 NFL Draft.

Interviewed on field following the Gamecocks' 34-24 Capital One Bowl victory over Wisconsin, Clowney was asked point blank whether he was declaring for the draft.

"Yes sir," he said before smiling and walking off (still clutching Vincent Smith's helmet).

GASP I AM SHOCKED JUST SHOCKED!!!!

Huh.  I wonder what NFL teams did to convince him to leave early.

he got a good start on this by playing in the $EC

Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.

He's taking a pay cut by leaving Carolina.

He'll still have to go back for traffic court though.

Did anyone else notice Curt Phillips kept throwing it right into Clowney's chest in the 4th quarter?

As an NFL GM, would you draft him in the top 5? As a Browns fan, I can't help but think about Courtney Brown.

He is a virtual certainty to go in the top five.  Probably at #2.

Shortly after, Vincent Smith declared that he will continue NOT playing in the NFL.

dude is going to make a ton of cash due in large part to last year and that one hit.  It will be interesting to see where he is drafted, I hope its not to the (pro) team I root for, but the 3 stooges will most likely trade up to get him.

I've soured on Clowney. He seems like a guy who has been the biggest and baddest dude at every level of football at which he's played but has never had to be the guy who elevated his effort. Someone will draft him high and be disappointed when real ass NFL linemen care little about his hype and take his lunch. He took plays off this year. In the Show, they laugh at that sort of thing. There are NFL lineman begging for a crack at him-and that is a challenge he has never quite seen. Very few things match the difficulty a grown ass NFL Lineman presents. I'd be shocked if Clowney doesn't face serious challenges to his future.
He'll be a top 5 pick. He'll also be a bust.

4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off

And with that said.  "With the fourth pick in the NFL draft the Cleveland Browns select Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina."

Ready to not hear about him anymore.  Go pro and go away.

I know there's a game Saturday, and my ass will be there.

Remove Clowney, insert Nkemdiche.  The game continues. Maybe someday he will lead Ole Miss to a Capital One Bowl.

If Clowney gets drafted by a Texas team, much of his speeding wont be over the limits, depending on which part of the state he's driving in.

Go Bucks and michigan STILL SUCKS!

looks like he will get a pay cut by moving to the NFL.

Cannot stand to see a dude waste all of that God given talent.  When he wants to be, he can dominate a game; problem is, he only goes hard for about 10 plays a game.  Some NFL coach needs to rip his ass and see how he responds.  The only thing Spurrier did for him was take him golfing.
