If You Roll the Pasadena Palm Trees, You're Going to Have a Bad Time

Toomer's Corner

Most college football fans are aware of Auburn's post-win tradition: toilet-papering a historic grove of trees like an angry mob of middle-class teenagers. Some War Eagles have thought about bringing their tradition west, to the sacred soil of Pasadena. This is not a good idea.

The Pasadena Police Department will probably have to get this message out through other means than the internet, but oh man would it be funny to see a bunch of Auburn fans having their night ruined for throwing toilet paper at palm trees.

Why am I not surprised that a blackwater hick traveling out of state for the first time would ask such a thing.
EDIT: Just to be clear, shouldn't the last thing on Albarns list of things to do be to fuckwithtrees?

Blackwater may have employed some hicks but they were already well traveled hicks.

I for one would love to see Auburn fans getting pepper sprayed in the streets while trying to throw toilet paper at a tree .... I just pray someone carries it on live TV

Team winning a national championship. Perfect. Spending the night in jail after getting maced. Not.

If the LAPD gets called in as backup it's likely we'll see a few dozen dead Auburn fans.

I hope Auburn fans will class it up a bit while in California and roll the palm trees before wiping.

To be granted permission to roll the historically-significant Pasadena palm trees, Auburn fans will first need to apply for a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Pasadena Historic Preservation Commission. Since it probably takes like three months to get a hearing before that commission - which would promptly deny the request, anyway - this TP project is doomed.
And woe to the Auburn fans who despoil the historic Pasadena landscape! They'll wish they could trade places with Harvey Updyke . . .

Moot point (hopefully), because you have to win to breakout the TP.

I live in Pasadena, the PPD doesn't take shit from their own residence so I know they would have no problem dealing with backwoods country folk...

Auburn is going to get blown off the field, so I'm not sure this is even necessary.

Palm Trees? Clearly they haven't seen the palm trees of Pasadena...  Not even Cam Newton could hit these trees with a wad of paper.

Not even sure how they could do more than start. I was there this afternoon and the amount of security there already is crazy.
