Rose Bowl Bathrooms

The Corvallis Gazette-Times published a piece today that got back to newspapers 20th century journalistic roots. Above, you will find the fruits of their labor.

Think about this disturbing image when ABC is busy shoving the sunset over the San Gabriel mountains down your throat during the Rose Bowl broadcast.

Halfway looks like an homage to ESPN there.....

He has mentioned having children.  Maybe he was dropping the kids off at the pool?

Maybe thinking about taking the Browns to the Superbowl?

Hopefully they know how to swim, or at least touch bottom.

I find your concern deeply moving.

Quadruple sarcasm, Unky? (in response to your comment with all the dots)

I was blown away by the bathroom section at the US Open this year. I think it was bigger than that and mixed into a country club setting was interesting to see.

On the same page with the bathroom story in the Corvallis Gazzet Times, there is this hilarious gem:

The restrooms used to be in the bowels of the stadium before they were moved in accordance with a new evacuation plan.

OH-IO!

This would piss me off.

Cal had a similar bathroom situation.  At the top of the non-pressbox side there were hundreds (?) of porta pots.  I believe I read somewhere that when the stadium renovation went over-budget they took out the bethroom upgrade.

I'm over there quite a bit. All kinds of stuff being built in that area, temporarily, for the Rose Parade and bowl games, as there is every year.

I was there for the OSU - Oregon Rose Bowl.  Same setup.  Looking from above, it looks pretty terrible.  But from ground level, you just see the fences, and it really isn't that big of a deal.
