Not a scene from Alalabama, but close.

Well this story is a ball of fun. From the finest literary organization in Alabama,

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- A man was shot in both legs at a gas station early Sunday morning after two unknown suspects taunted him about being an Alabama fan after Saturday's LSU game, according to the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit.

At 2:37 a.m. on Sunday, homicide investigators responded to a shooting at the Shell station at Skyland Boulevard and Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa.

The victim, a 30-year-old male, had been shot in both legs. He was being transported to DCH with non-life threatening injuries. The victim stated he stopped at the store to use the restroom when two unknown male subjects taunted him about being an Alabama fan.

Wow! I can see that Alabama's new Weight Loss and Nutrition Center is paying huge dividends. That is the skinniest Bessie has been since 6th grade!
She's on the verge of getting into the top 10% of "most fit 'bama fans" according to Sports Fan Weekly:

She kinda gives "Roll Tide" a different perspective...not to mention that she may be big enough to influence the tides.

is this what they mean by "The Elephant in the room".

Is that considered "roll tide" or "tide rolls"?

As outrageous/horrifying as this is -- someone getting shot in both legs for simply being a fan of another team, there is a silver lining. This fan can name his temporary wheelchair "Tide."

I never should have laughed that hard at a wheelchair joke. Thank you for helping me realize just exactly how despicable I truly am.

I'm sure when the suspects taunted him the victim just looked the other way and went about his business without responding.  Then, this poor soul was shot in both legs.... tragic.
The more likely scenario is that the two guys came up and started taunting the victim.  In response, the victim said something like:  "Alabama is so f%*n awesome moth%&*kers.  I should kick your asses for saying that.  In fact, I'd kick your asses even if you shot me in both my legs."  Then, they shot him in both his legs.

Yeti's have feelings too.

I was just wondering what the picture has to do with the story, it says he was shot at a Shell station, and that cop is from the State of Washington?

I just can't see shooting someone for wearing UM gear.  I mean, granted, if I were in a situation where I happened to shoot someone, and they happened to be wearing UM gear, yeah I'd probably give them some crap about it and taunt them after I shot them.  But no, this is crazy.
