Jeff Heuerman had a game at Purdue.

Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman's big day in West Lafayette has earned him the John Mackey Tight End of the Week award from the folks that give out the Mackey Award.

The junior tied a career-best with five catches and set personal bests with 116 receiving yards and a long of 40. His outing marked the first time an Ohio State tight end had topped the century mark since Rickey Dudley went for 106 against Tennessee in the 1996 Citrus Bowl. Heuerman's 116 is the most by an OSU tight end in 30 years.
