Jeff Heuerman had a game at Purdue.

Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman's big day in West Lafayette has earned him the John Mackey Tight End of the Week award from the folks that give out the Mackey Award.

The junior tied a career-best with five catches and set personal bests with 116 receiving yards and a long of 40. His outing marked the first time an Ohio State tight end had topped the century mark since Rickey Dudley went for 106 against Tennessee in the 1996 Citrus Bowl. Heuerman's 116 is the most by an OSU tight end in 30 years.

Know he had some big catches. Didn't know he got over 100 yards though. Good for him and Vannett in the long run. Nice to see them incorporate more of the offense around them. Gives the defenses that much more to worry about.

It's crazy that you have to go back to Rickey Dudley for the last 100 yard game by a TE.

We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan, we're from O-HI-O!

Heuermann has been a stud blocker all season, and it was nice to see him get the ball in space on Saturday. Congratulations on the Mackey award!
