In this Heisman promo spot from 1996, Ohio State tackle Orlando Pace teaches us how to make the perfect pancake. Instructions include "mixing it up real well," "flipping the pancake," and "putting a lot of pressure on it."

Despite Ohio State's best promotional efforts, Pace would finish 4th in Heisman voting that year, but the pancakes were memorable and delicious.

I always knew he was tall, but seeing him in the kitchen is just ridiculous.

Am I crazy, or did they make that logo (the pancakes with "PACE") into a fridge magnet or something?

No, they existed. Part of his Heisman campaign......

He should open up an all day pancake shop next to Eddie George's grill. A bunch of drunk kids killing some flapjacks late at night would be pretty good financially I feel.

This! Awesome idea. You would think a joint like that would do pretty well.

We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan, we're from O-HI-O!

If anybody knows how to make pancakes, it's Orlando. You're exactly right Fresh. I think an Orlando's(or Pace's) House of Pancakes would be a natural fit next to the 27 Grill.
