Zach Boren artwork now adorns the Woody Hayes Athletic Center

The Woody Hayes Athletic Center, Ohio State's football training complex, is now also an art gallery, evidently.

It's hanging in my bedroom

The offseason begins when your season ends. Even then there are no days off.

As an artist, I love many forms of art, but nothing displays tormenting pain and agony quite as well as John Simon hovering over Gardner as he lays on the ground weeping does.

I never saw a football player make a tackle with a smile on his face

This was the background on my laptop for a while also.  The job that Boren did moving to LB cannot be overstated.  One of the keys to our season.
Edit: Even if his pass coverage was mediocre.

That photo, IMO, is just as good as the Clowney hit on Vincent Smith. Though it didn't have the impact of the Outback Bowl debacle, this one has more swagger.

That has to be one of the best sports pictures ever.
No words needed.

It truly is iconic.  I have it as the wallpaper on my phone, and even though we're into spring, I can't seem to bring myself to replace it.

I really like how one color dominates the other in that piece.

Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...

Hovenaut's picture

Nothing abstract about that hit, er, piece.

They auctioned a couple of those off on the Buckeye Cruise.  It evoked a gasp from the crowd when they brought it out.  Pretty awesome.

IT'S BEAUTIFULLLLL!!!

Seriously, one of my all time favorite photos.

MN Buckeye's picture

It could be neoclassic or be realism.  An art historian could let us know for certain.

I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
