Your March Madness Friday Open Thread IV
You're celebrating. You may even be a little buzzed. But there's more basketball to watch. And most importantly, you must scout Ohio State's next opponent. The duties of a Buckeye fan know no end.
Save for the Kansas-Western Kentucky game, we should be in for entertaining matchups. Oklahoma and San Diego State will come down to the last couple of possessions even if you have no faith whatsoever in the Mountain West Conference after Thursday's games. Notre Dame vs Iowa State has a one-point line and the winner will face the Buckeyes Sunday. Finally, UCLA vs Minnesota is the rare 6-vs-11 that features the 11 as the favorite.

I'm sorry, but I just have to brag about this. I picked both Harvard AND Florida Gulf Coast to win their first round games.

what did korey lucious do? because he seems like too good of a player to get thrown off of a team while the choirboys of nix and payne are allowed to hang around and commit fouls that should be given 15 to life.

Iowa state shooting good from 3, could be concerning, but our perimeter D is on a different level compared to ND. I would rather play ND with 14 freaking turnovers in the first half, scott and craft would have a field day, but I am feeling pretty good about next match up, but then again, I will be sitting on the couch, drinking a beer yelling at the TV. I am sure the bucks with bring it on Sunday
I agree, ISU also leads the nation in 3's if I am not mistaken. Notre Dame doesn't scare me at all, they have one impressive win which is Louisville and got beat pretty handily in all of the other games that they had against the very top teams.
I did not know/hear that about ISU, but seeing them hit and attempt three's would make sense. Live by the 3, die by the 3.... hope they die by it
I looked it up, they have made by far the most 3's as well as taken by far the most. They only hit it at a .370 clip though which is outside the top 40, so that could help the bucks out quite a bit. If they are missing it might really help OSU get out and run. Should be a great game assuming they can hold on.
Gophers looking solid. On a good run right now. Would love to see them blow the doors off of a Pac 12 team just so I could hear what Barkley has to say.
Edit: While I typed this, Minny continued their run and UCLA has taken 2 timeouts in the last minute.
