Who do you cheer for in this one? Bo Ryan or Tom Crean. Kind of liking choosing between setting yourself on fire or cutting your arm off.
I was thinking it's more like choosing between the Penguin and the Joker. Or Saban/Miles.
I am rooting for 12 overtimes! And, the winner (us of course) of our game today getting the tourney title tomorrow.

I'll root for Wisconsin since Crean sucked at life most recently. Wouldn't mind getting another crack at the Badgers if we can get past MSU as well. I remember the last hoops 'Revenge Game' v UW going quite well.

Am I the only person who actually likes Bo Ryan as a coach? This isn't even a question for me, I'm all for Wisky shocking Clappy the Clown.

Is there a way they can both lose? Well of course I want us to win today and tomorow, but no matter what I don't want to see Bo or Crean win it all. At least Izzo has got some class and is a coach I can respect. Now with that being said Let's go Bucks beat the Spartans then whichever of these two is left standing!!
As much as I love Big Ten basketball, I really struggle watching Wisconsin games. Ryan's teams just seem to take the fun out of games. Maybe that is how you get coach of the year, make your team and your team's games aggravating for players, coaches, and fans from all other teams in the league.

I feel like Ryan's style works for the Big Ten regular season. However, once March comes around it becomes apparent it doesn't work in the Tourney.
Sometimes I really hate living in North Carolina. Our local CBS affiliate here in Raleigh has opted to show the ACC Network game NC State vs Miami which incidentally is also being broadcast by ESPN. So guess I won't be able to see Wiscy vs IU.

Don't get me wrong I see your point of view but I'd rather watch disciplined, well played basketball than sloppy contests. Like I said it was fun to watch there until it started dragging out.

I agree. He is just super skilled for a guy with that height. If he weren't so soft he could be an unbelievable player, but regardless he is still a great player
if he can be half the player dirk is he should be very happy.
I like Hulls as a shooter (that would be nice) and Zeller would be tougher if he had, say, Izzo or Matta as his coach. Sheehy, however, has a highly punchable face.
If Indiana loses, do they get a 1 seed or does the B1G get shut out of the top bracket spots? Would be weird since most call the B1G the best/toughest conference this year.
no way does the big 10 not get a 1 seed. Maybe 2 of them.
I don't think so. If we win the BTT, the highest we would get is the last 2 seed. So, if IU loses, they may give it to them, but that's about the most I can see.
I think the winner of the Big Ten tourney (if its not Wisconsin) gets a #1 seed. Remember last year when all of the sudden the Big Ten Tournament Final unexpectedly became a playoff for a #1 seed? I think it could end up being the same sort of situation. If Indiana wins the tourney, they're an obvious #1 seed. If Sparty beats us and Indiana consecutively, its hard not to make them a #1 seed. Same for us if we beat Sparty and Indiana consecutively.

Half court offense is very average
I am not convinced he's more than a good recruiter. With the talent he has right now, image what other coaches nationally would be able to do? K would have this team whipping everyone, Self would be able to develop them, Izzo would de-wimp them, Matta would utilize their strengths and minimize their weakness, Ryan would develop them like none other (imagine of Zeller could shoot and handle like a Wisky big), and I could go on.
however, I'm not a Crean fan in general, so I will be biased at this.
So, this method can/will fail if Wisky can make their free throws.
