We built the first half lead with the small line up on the floor - even though we got killed on the glass in the process. I wouldn't draw too many conclusions, though, since Illinois could not make a shot.
Gonna be hard to use that lineup in second half unless their big fouls again. Thad couldn't go to it before he picked up his second. Good job by sam not picking up a third foul.

I might get some crap for this but Dan is a really good guy. He can definitely be annoying but I played basketball with his son Andrew growing up and Dan Dakich was always a real good dude. He coached some decent teams at BGSU too and I always really liked going to his basketball camps in the summer. He's a class act.
I like the guy. Insightful, honest, and likes us.
I honestly don't mind him. I don't know if it's because I think he's bearable or if I think he's more bearable than other color commentators on ESPN. I'd take him over Dicky V every day of the week.

I don't' think you are but I really don't like him. I don't think he is that knowledgeable. I think a lot of college basketball fans could offer as good, if not better, insight. A lot of people like him because he says things other people wouldn't say. However, I think other people wouldn't say them because they are actually really lame. But that's just my opinion.

LSJ misses more dadgum layups than any D1 college player I have ever seen.
I was thinking that same thing. I cringe nearly every time he gets the ball because I feel he's going to take an errant shot nearly every time. When he actually makes something, it's not a "Good job, Lenzelle." but more of a "Oh thank God he didn't miss that like he usually does." kind of thing.
