OSU Law Student Provides Gift to Moritz College of Law to Honor Husband Who Died in Iraq
Jenna Grassbaugh, a second year law student at Moritz, has donated $250,000 of her husband's life-insurance benefit to the law school to fund an effort to help veterans. Grassbaugh's husband, Capt. Jonathan D. Grassbaugh, was killed in Iraq on April 7, 2007. The Law School will create the Capt. Jonathan D. Grassbaugh Veterans Project that will provide legal assistance to veterans returning from deployment. OSU is seeking to match that donation. An all-around great story.

You can't pay it back, you can only pay it forward.

Great Story indeed. I remember how stressful it was to acclimate back into society after I returned from the first Gulf War. It was through programs like these that I was able to get my affairs in order and hit the ground running.
Bless this woman and her generous gift as well as her husbands ultimate sacrifice to this country and to Democracy.
Thank you for your service. Godspeed

Thank you for your service to our country.
Amazing and thoughtful generosity.
For those who didn't click through to read the entire story, here is the link to donate to the project. Hopefully I'll be among the first of many, many 11Wers to contribute in honor of the Captains Grassbaugh and their service.
Putting others before you, inspiring and encouraging hopefully to all of those who read this.

This program she is creating is awesome. Veteran law students, supervised by veteran lawyers, helping disadvantaged vets with legal problems.
Also, Jenna is amazing. She is a great student and person. Certainly this is a great program to donate to. If anyone is interested in donating, or how they can help, contact me and I will lead you to the proper person.
this is American exceptionalism!
Since Moritz prints money, it would be nice if they matched or doubled the gift.
The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...
What they are doing is using it to create a fellowship that will last forever. The fellowship will assist law students that are veterans in the program.
