This has been a weird basketball season. Start near the top, get knocked down a few pegs, claw your way up top again, get knocked even further down, and now all of a sudden people are wondering if you even have it in you to beat Northwestern on the road. This has been a weird basketball season. That kind of sucks, but the truth of the matter is that losing three out of four when two out of those three were to some of the best teams in the country isn't ALL bad. Still, OFFICIAL TURNAROUND 2.0 starts tonight against Minnesota, and to help us illuminate that subject, we've brought on beat writer Amelia Rayno from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

And let's put it this way: three out of four sucks, but seven out of ten is way, way worse. Tubby runnin'. Also we get into our sadly mostly empty Ask Us Anything bag (fill it up at [email protected]!), and then debate some of the news du jour.

"What's that?"

It's the news of the day.

"Mmm that sounds good, I'll have that."

0:23- Sarah and I discuss the finer points of getting your lunch handed to you by Wisconsin, and also make a point of getting mad at anyone and everyone associated with the Ohio State men's basketball program.

14:12- Amelia Rayno talks a little Gopher basketball with us, and shares some pretty interesting Tubby Smith insights that I'm sure will warm you to your very core (or make you spit in rage if we somehow lose tonight).

33:17- Ask Us Anything, where we delve deep into the dark abyss that is Yahoo Answers once again.

47:45- Because he's a clown. That's the joke.

Music used on the Dubcast this week was Chris Thomas King's version of "Born Under A Bad Sign," "The Bends" by Radiohead, and "Tears of a Clown" by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles. And that's it! Watch basketball, and be merry!

The Bucks are just not that good.  One scorer doesn't win games.

What's the soup du jour?

Brandt can't watch, though, or he has to pay $100.

Its the soup of the day.

4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off

speaking of the title, has anyone ever seen the movie "Go for Broke"?  Fantastic idea behind the film, as it tells (although fictionalized, naturally) the story of the 442nd regiment, comprised of Nisei (2nd generation Japanese Americans) who were put into internment camps after Pearl Harbor, and then volunteered to serve in the European theater.  My grandmother taught with a few veterans of the 442nd when she lived in Hawaii, and made sure that all the grandkids knew about it.
