James Clark Makes 25
Just when you think Urban Meyer has done it all in recruiting, he brings even more riches to the Ohio State football program.
The latest gift from the head coach to Buckeye Nation comes in the form of New Smyrna Beach (FL) WR James Clark, who verbally committed to the Buckeyes today following his official visit to Columbus a few weeks back.
Clark announced his intentions at a Signing Day press conference at his school, but reportedly informed Meyer of his decision a few days ago. He selected the Bucks over finalists Florida, Clemson, Nebraska, and Northwestern, and becomes the 25th commit in OSU's 2013 recruiting haul.
The four-star prospect is ranked as the 32nd best wide receiver in the nation according to the 247 Composite, and at 5-10/170 with speed, will likely play an inside receiver position in Meyer's spread offense.
Clark's commitment gives the Buckeyes yet another weapon and is a cherry on top for what is already a fantastic Ohio State recruiting class that is making a push for the nation's top spot as this year's cycle comes to a close.
S Vonn Bell is up next to make his college choice known, so stay tuned to 11W for that announcement, as well as more from James Clark on his decision to become a Buckeye.
