Thomas needs more touches. Feel like he only is touching the ball on 33% of the possessions. Offense needs to run through him. If we could block out, we'd be up 20.

they still look shitty. If smith jr would starting playing they could be final four material. Amir is still soft as a teddy bear in the post. I would have gone bobby knight on his ass in the first half. He has no foot speed and is afraid to put his body on someone.

I know exactly what you mean! I was just thinking the same thing. It's an easier pill to swallow when you deserve it - allowing yourself to commit a mental error as egregious as an offensive lane violation, coupled with the poor rebounding and lack of intensity, means Iowa would absolutely deserve the win.

They could be, but that's going to be their choice. They have to execute when in games and "want it". Right now they are weak mentally and don't seem to care. It's on them to take care of those things, not Matta.

Greg Oden was drafted #1 overall. Oden, Kufuos, Sully, Cook, Conley Jr, Turner, Mullens. Thats a pretty good 7 deep on any nba roster with a healthy Oden.

Indiana had as many, or more, NBA draft picks during Knight's glory years as Matta has had at OSU. In total, 39 Hoosiers were drafted during Knight's tenure at IU.

so, Matta isn't John Wooden. He's the best basketball coach at OSU, IMO, that I've seen (Gary Williams, randy ayers, Jim o'brien) and OSU has had more on court success since he has been coach, than they had in the previous 20 years before he was hired.

I keep losing respect for Gus. Blatant michigan homerism mid-broadcast, and he keeps citing this 23 point lead as the largest of the game, when it was clearly 24. Look at any gamecast/stats on this game.

I understand that there was a lot of lofty expectations for this team, but it required a lot of people to step up/grow and they simply just have not. Craft is still probably one of my favorite buckeyes of all time. He's not an offensive player. He can play PG and dish the ball, but he's not Conley who can take over a game. Shouldn't be expected of him. Don't turn the ball over, play amazing defense. That's what he should do.

I know it's been said over and over again, but someone needs to be able to score besides DT. I don't see anyone on the roster that is able to do that. If you think it's frustrating next year, I'm nervous to think of what next year will bring.

This team is mentally out to lunch. No reason for this team to turn the ball over so much, with Craft, Scott, and Smith handling the ball. But they do.
