Welcome to Day Four of the offseason. They say it gets better, but I think it will just get worse.

How long until I find myself waking up in the middle of the night, in a cold sweat, wondering why I didn't watch North Carolina Central vs. Delaware State when I had the chance? I'm setting the over/under at seven weeks.

(Pssst... I'm taking the under.)

EENIE MEENIE MINEY MO. It was reported on Thursday by IrishIllustrated.com that 4-star LB Alex Anzalone has decommitted from Notre Dame, and will instead enroll early at Florida.

Ohio State fans will remember Anzalone as the recruit that decommitted from Ohio State, following a bizarre story involving a sex offender. Safe to say, this kid (and, in fairness, his father) has more issues than a magazine stand. Or, perhaps, he just doesn't understand the meaning of commitment. Which is cool, I'm not going to judge.

What is pretty hilarious, actually, are the attacks that Anzalone received on Twitter as a result. Let me clarify: the fact that someone his age is being attacked online is not the hilarious part (not even close).

But rather that a select group of Golden Domers fail to see the incredibly delicious humor in them getting dumped by a kid that dumped a school in order to commit to them. NOW they want to question his character. Some of them resorted to even more begging than Rudy. Man, you'd think they'd try to show a little self respect after Monday.

Either way, this is looking like even less of a loss for Ohio State as more time passes. Recruiting drama like this can usually be a sign that it's a blessing in disguise when programs don't get the recruits they wanted. Remember Seantrel Henderson?

HALL GRANTED MEDICAL REDSHIRT. Ohio State confirmed on Thursday that senior running back Jordan Hall's appeal for a medical redshirt was approved, and he is cleared to play for another season. A freak accident in the summer — Hall tore a tendon in his foot while cleaning up dog poop in the grass, while barefoot — and a PCL tear at Michigan State prevented him from being able to play through most of the 2012 season.

Though Ohio State led the B1G in scoring without Hall's help for most of the year, he was touted as one of the players that would be featured prominently in Urban's offense, and his return in 2013 just gives Buckeye fans one more chance to see how that could play out.

Jordan Hall, coming back to play in 2013.

BENJAMIN BUTTON TO SOUTH BEACH? Brian Windhorst and Marc Stein reported Thursday that Buckeye and former Number 1 overall draft pick, Greg Oden, is planning on resuming his playing career, but no sooner than the 2013-14 season.

Speculation has pointed to the possibility that the Blazers' handling of Oden's multiple knee injuries and surgeries, and resulting rehab, played a big role in his inability to ever get a good streak going when returning to play.

Multiple teams have shown interest in the possibility of signing Oden to a deal that will allow him to continue his rehab until he is fully ready to play. One such team is the Miami Heat. Oden hasn't played since December of 2009, and the Heat have been looking for a center for about the same amount of time.

Wherever he ends up, this will be disappointing for anyone that got excited whenever running into the big guy at Sushi Rock on High... but best of luck to Oden anyway!

BROWNS GET THEIR MAN. On Thursday the Browns confirmed the hiring of Rob Chudzinksi as their new head coach, and will introduce him at a new conference later today. Chudzinski spent the last two seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers, and sources have claimed he is looking into hiring Norv Turner as his OC in Cleveland.

Inexperienced as a head coach, Chudzinski was a heavy underdog to get the position; but, he is a hometown kid, and who loves ish like that more than Ohio?
