How many of you are surprised at this early rout? I'm not.
Pretty happy Nebraska hung in for so long. If they would have stuck more with that up-tempo and less passing (INT's, derp!) they could have won the game. They had the UGa defense on the ropes and at times just waited for them to sub, line up, etc.
Commentators were particularly annoying with how great the SEC defense is. Yeah, right.
Not hopeful for Wisky and this could be a matchup worse than Purdue drew.
No way. Every fucking call went against Nebraska while they ignored blatant intentional grounding a million holds committed by Georgia. Fucking Big XII refs.

One thing that struck me in that game was how many personal fouls Georgia had. When Martinez got hit (early Q4 I think) and yeah, I guess he was like 2" inbounds I yelled at the TV it's time to start ejecting GA players. In fact, how often do you see TWO blatant personal fouls on one play; the receiver for Brasky was clearly pummeled after calling a fair catch but because of the other personal foul up the field no flag. Pelini went nuts as well he should have. They are just a dirty team.
So I agree the refs were awful, particularly on the grounding calls.
Clearly its taught in GA that you tackle by grabbing face masks. Not all got called.
Yeah the intentional grounding calls got me. Not 1 UGA player within 30 yards and no call but Nebraska gets flagged for it when the ball was within 3 yards of an eligible receiver.
watching the ESPNU UA practice during commercial breaks... SEC obsession all over the place by the recruiting analysts... really wish ESPN would at least cover things evenly, or be less obvious, makes watching things like this feel like being cheated out of decent coverage for recruiting... big TD for Wisconsin... be nice for their D to get a turnover

FSU is prone to mistakes...also, too many examples of teams being bashed for being from a weaker conference or having a weaker schedule and tends to lead to them playing above their pay grade... think NIU can channel some inner Boise State and play well and be able to push FSU... dont think this is a UC/Florida situation in the sugar a couple years ago, more of a UConn/Oklahoma match up where UConn pushed OU for 3 quarters but just didnt have the gas or the players to hang with Oklahoma for 4 quarters
They spelled "funny" ...but I'm a little dumbfounded as to what was supposed to be funny. And why was one of Stanford's band members wearing a cheesehead? That whole show was a head scratcher.

Good chance we only get one win today for the B1G but for most of the teams playing above where they should be on a normal year, the games have been competitive. Far better than last year's shellacking most of the teams took. Maybe things are looking up for us as a conference...but then again I'm not sure it could've been worse either so the only other direction was up I guess.
See, I thought the same thing in January of 2010, when the B1G capped off a bowl season that featured 2 BCS bowl wins, and the conference's top-4 all won their bowls. I think the B1G finished 4-3 in bowls that year.
Since then they have yet to post a winning record in bowl season, and this year it will be 2-5. I don't know how to slice 2-5 any other way than 2-5. Were the games competitive? Perhaps. But this isn't the MAC, and in the end the teams with the better talent and the better coaches won...and that keeps being not the Big Ten.

0-3, the vadger fans don't even care. There is MAYBE a 20% section of W red in the stadium, if the Buckeyes were there it would 50/50 easily. Can 2014 RB/NCG come quick enough?
Final thought; the rest of the BIG better get their shit together and fast because The Ohio State University Buckeyes are about to leave them all in the dust. Go Bucks!!
On the bright side, the Vadgers saved us from having to watch another realistic chance at a W fizzling away due to idiot coaching decisions courtesy of Bort Bielma.

It's a good day to be a Buckeye.Them B1G bottomfeeders all went down ,except for the Nerds and they will get their whoop'in later this year when they get Buckeyed.Feels good. GO BUCKS!
You know, they just talked for some time about Stanford's strengths, Stanford's recent history, Stanford's play, and Stanford's future. Not once did any of the announcers use the words "PAC-12". If this had been a team from the SEC this win would have been used to demonstrate all sorts of great things about "the SEC". Imagine the number of times "SEC defensive power" would have been mentioned if, say, Georgia had just played the defensive game Stanford played.
So I guess any SEC win says something good about the whole SEC, any loss by any non-SEC team shows the weakness of a given conference, and any win by a non-SEC team only says something about that particular team. Got it.
Not gonna lie I'm glad the rest of the conference sucked today. I hate the SEC and props to Northwestern for finally breaking their streak but I'm not one to be a "Conference Fan." I love my Buckeyes and my Buckeyes only
"There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you." Woody Hayes
Big 10 teams showed up today...regardless of how ESPN or other college football analysts want to paint it... Nebraska had no business being in that game with UGA, Wisconsin was the 6th best team in the big ten this year and played the pac-12 champs and Michigan blew it in the final seconds... Purdue was Purdue so who cares about them. Props to NW
Nope. Loss = not even competing, according to college football analysts and ESPN.
It's true that the rest of the Big 10 needs to start actually winning these games, but it's not like the talent gap is that big. The coaching gap sure as hell is, though.
Time to look forward to National Signing Day when the Buckeyes reel in a top class and reload for the future. As for the TSUN; I'm not sure why anyone would want to go there; they have a fat blabber mouth guy who thinks he can coach; they have butt ugly girls and the whole state is going down the toilet....in other words; LOSERS!!
About what I expected from this game. I didn't think Wisconsin would get run out of the stadium, but I didn't think they'd actually pull it out. For the 6th best team in this conference against the best of the PAC 12, not too shabby.

Go Bucks!!

This, this and soo this!
Good Lord we should just SO dominate next year. And all we'll hear is how shitty the competition was. Sad face.
On the bright side, the Vadgers saved us from having to watch another realistic chance at a W fizzling away due to idiot coaching decisions courtesy of Bort Bielma.

Thank you Stanford, I couldn't bare to watch Wisconsin win a completely undeserved Rose Bowl
And one other thing for tonight; Go Northern Illinois Huskies!!!!!!!

Yeah, but FSU i s damn good and I'm not optimistic.
wiscy blows, heh, 0-3, third time is not the charm for them...
Another Wisc Rose Bowl loss - way to set the bar at 0 - 3. They should be banned
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
Alvarez looks legitimately sad.
He always looks like that. That's his face.
Of course he is. His perfect record is ruined.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
0-3 in Rose Bowls....
This is what happens when a 8-5 team plays in the Rose Bowl. I couldn't think of a better fanbase for this to happen to other than Wisconsin!
Barry 3-1 in Rose Bowls
Woody Hayes has the most wins for any B1G team!
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
Happy not to hear Musberger say "The Cardinal" again.
David shaw is a class act. Negotiated contract renewal without an agent. I love a coach that loves his job.
Yeah but so was Bama a few years ago and Utah beat them in the Sugar like a drum so you never know; that's why they play the game.

No doubt; Shaw is a class act all the way.

It's a good day to be a Buckeye.Them B1G bottomfeeders all went down ,except for the Nerds and they will get their whoop'in later this year when they get Buckeyed.Feels good. GO BUCKS!
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
6 loss team in the Rose Bowl. Gotta love it.

I found myself cheering against every Big Ten team except for Northwestern this year
Big 10 teams showed up today...regardless of how ESPN or other college football analysts want to paint it...
"Fate has cards that it don't want to show"
sigh. Northwestern... class of the B1G
About what I expected from this game. I didn't think Wisconsin would get run out of the stadium, but I didn't think they'd actually pull it out. For the 6th best team in this conference against the best of the PAC 12, not too shabby.
Class of 2010.
