Seems weird that two Big 12 teams have games on the same day as their conference championship game. What's up with that?
Class of 2010
They don't have a conference championship game since they only have 10 teams.
Even if they had a championship, it would probably be safe for KU and Iowa State to schedule games on that date. That's why I don't want them joining the Big 10
There is no Big 12 championship game.
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
lol shit. I forgot about that.
All this conference expansion is way too much. I can't keep track of my own conference, let alone other conferences. I knew if OU won the game, they win the conference. My mind decided that this game was the "conference title game" because of this.

Tee-hee, at College Gameday, there's all these signs for Georgia, and Bama...and right in the middle was a big "12-0, Go Buckeyes!" sign. Loved it.
Matt Millen is such a colossal moron. OU v. TCU is a 10 point game with 7 minutes left. 4th and short on OU's 25, and TCU looks like they're going to go for it. Then after a false start puts the ball on the 30 yard line, Millen concludes TCU will just punt. . . . This after the announcers discussed the relative success TCU's kicker has had with 40+ yard field goals. Kicker obviously comes out and he ends up cutting the lead down to 7.
In no logical universe would punting be the decision in that situation. I have no tolerance for this kind of blatant ignorance. It's not that significant of a mistake, but it's common sense. And so many announcers just don't have any.
what do you expect from the guy who burned just about every first rounder he had on wide receivers?
I seen millen in wisky at the game heading up to the press box. He was wearing white sox and tennis shoes with his suit. Looked like a moron.
He was truly devastated that game b/c we didn't "let" Montee get that TD record at home in front of his pawents awwwww.
I hate millen.
Arkansas State is on fire right now. I wish they could play next week. They're one of the hottest under-the-radar teams in the country.
Malzahn has the Offense a rollin.
Any other fellow degenerate gamblers out there - take note of Arky State come bowl time.

Nick Saban running no huddle. Can you say "hypocrite"?

I wonder if Bama loses today, does that take some mystique off of "Johnny Football's miraculous victory over the unstoppable NFL-beating Crimson Tide?

After watching Ohio State football for the entire season, my eyes can't adjust to the SEC speeeeed. All I see is one big blur until they show the slow motion replay.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
Actually, that's not the blur from the speed. It's just the camera trying to pan around that one UGA offensive lineman's belly to get a better shot of the slow-developing run play Mark Richt just dialed up.

Hahahahaha...Saban goes all "Les Miles" on Georgia, with the same results.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
I'm speechless. I thought I would be seeing college football at it's finest. Missed tackles, false starts, dropped passes, bad angles. I want my money back.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
They already took your money and gave it to the players. You won't be getting any of that money back.

NICE FAKE PUNT, GA!!!!! Go Dawgs!
Nice goal line stop right there. 'Bama will get it though.
Anyone else think that was *not* a helmet-to-helmet hit on McCarron?
Nice pick.
I was wrong. Go dogs!
These announcers are really laying the lipstick thick on this pig.

I was just thinking about how hilarious it would be if Bama loses this game, which would mean no BCS appearance altogether. Then I remembered that they'd probably be playing Northwestern in the Capital One Bowl. :(
We can't stop here; this is bat country...
Bama would more than likely play in the Cotton Bowl against the Big XII
I hope so. Bama and Oregon are the two teams that I think would hammer any B1G team in the bowls this year.
We can't stop here; this is bat country...
Yes... I've heard both Georgia and 'Bama have negotiated the Cotton Bowl if they lose this game.
So would Northwestern be looking at LSU or A&M? LSU I'm not worried about. A&M, on the other hand...
We can't stop here; this is bat country...
Staples has A&M facing scUM in the Capital One Bowl. Which would be so, so awesome.
I'm just not sure. And let me clarify... I don't think it was a definite that the loser plays in the Cotton Bowl, but it was worded fairly strongly on XM College Sports this morning.
Danielson and Verne are horrible. You would have thought after A&M game that they should not be surprised when someone hits Alabama back in the mouth, and that they would alter their Tuscaloosa local station style just a bit. Not so much. Lundquist's call on the end zone pick was pathetically morose.
It literally sounds like they're crying in the booth anytime something bad happens to Alabama. After A&M HAMMERED Bama at home, Verne was like "Well, Bama still has a great shot at the NC game". Literally zero mention on how well A&M played.
It's sickening how obviously biased they are.
We can't stop here; this is bat country...
That was a grown man run right there [rolls eyes].
Verne, meet Carlos Hyde.
We can't stop here; this is bat country...
Wow that was dirty bullshit no call. Ref was right there watching too.
No call on Murray hit, huh? Ref right there, too.
Any1 see that no call hit on Aaron Murray? Redicilous... I hate both of these teams but hope Georgia wins.
Dirty. That is all.

yes, I dislike Georgia less than Bama....but I like Mark Richt a lot more than I like Nick Saban
go Bulldogs!
(obligatory crazy UGA fan video:)
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
so what are the odds for a Ga - Ala rematch for the NC? (just kidding, I think)
It took me awhile to decide but I'm pretty sure I want Bama to win out. It maintains the status quo.
I dont wan't to lose out on recruits because UGA or ND somehow manage to pull out a championship. Especially with all the Georgia recruits we're chasing for 2014.
Georgia takes control with a blocked punt!
Wow, that was an amazing swing. Looking forward to the butt hurt from Alabama fans on that botched tip call, followed by the blocked kick return for a TD. Couldn't happen to a better team.
Gary wants an investigation on the tip. Hilarious.
Maybe McCarron should learn to throw a pass that doesn't look like it was tipped the moment it leaves his hands
Too easy...
Georgia's front seven is trash against the run.
Frustrating to watch. You just get the feeling Alabama will find a way...
Never ever bet on Georgia
I guess they thought it was over at 21-10 and decided to stop playing.
The most unimaginative offense in college football is having it's way against an SEC defense and they're as one dimensional as they've been all year.
Seriously. Also, McCarron is a srub
LOL georgia scores again and they just whine about holding
Oregon would put up 40 on either of these teams.
Oregon is Jekyll and Hyde. Some weeks they might put up 80 and others they could lay an egg like against Stanford and LSU (and Boise at the beginning of their run)
no doubt we could play with either one of these SEC teams
and Once Urban get his type speed guys
to mix with the hardnose midwestern kids
its a wrap
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
No love for Danielson's Spielman reference? It got a cheer out of this household!
^^^^ only good part of the broadcast
Anyone who says either of these teams would blow out ND is stupid
Yeldon is good, no doubt, but the tackling is horrendous. Why do they insist on tackling his shoulder pads?
I'm praying for a meteor right now, but if someone had a knife to my neck, I'd say Bama. Not because there's anything at all redeeming about that garbage dump in Tuscaloosa (and no offense to Mark Richt, he's a nice, conservative, incompetant HC who wins the I'm-not-Nick-Saban Humanism Award) but because I keep hoping that Saban winning another title will be what it takes to get the man to leave CFB for another stint in the NFL.
Of course, with my luck, his replacement will be Jim Tressel and I'll spend the next year bawling my eyes out.
"There is a force that makes us all brothers, no one goes his way alone." --Woody Hayes
And I reiterate it again. If you force McCarron to make the play Alabama is easy to beat
My wife just found out that they are playing this game indoors and said why don't they play outside like real football and called them pussies, she isn't a huge football fan, but she knows what she is talking about (too bad the B1G doesn't play outside though).
I'd love to see a Georgia TD here.
Look at these SEC defenses!
Tough to win games when you give up 500+ yards, of which almost 350 were rushing.
Edit: Also, Verne has no idea what irony actually means.
I had a slight stroke trying to understand what Verne was trying to imply on that one
That was a stellar series by UGA.
The Bama running game is a thing of beauty. How they failed to score more against A&M, which isn't too far removed from having a genuine Big 12 defense, is a total mystery.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Not really. If you have any ability to tackle at all, you can stop them. Georgia is getting penetration on every play, they just keep trying to arm tackle.
Cannot believe Georgia didn't spike the ball there. I just don't understand that.
All southern education jokes aside, that was a really risky move; borderline idiotic.
That was terrible. The WR should've dropped the ball too. Well I guess there's a reason why these kids are going to school on athletic scholarships..
WR likely didn't know what was ahead of (behind) him. That stupid *ss throw was on the QB
Ridiculous ending.
If we were ever to lose a game like that I would stop being a fan. That was the absolute worst clock management I have ever seen, not only on the last play but on the play before that as well.
Also I'm calling it now, Notre Dame will beat Alabama
Again, their athletic ability is why they are in college, not academic. Aaron Murray didn't come to play no school, and apparently he didn't come to play no football either.
This game will baffle me for years.
Should have spiked it on the first and goal and on the first down before that. That should just be automatic, you shouldn't need a coach to tell you to do it, and you sure as hell don't pass it to a WR who isn't even close to the sidelines.
Agreed. They should've spiked and they would've had 2-3 plays. Although the pass would've been alright because the WR was running an out to the sidelines, the pass was deflected and ricocheted up into the air. Dumbo should've smacked it down instead of catching it.
Wtf did I just watch?
SEC IQ decides the game.
*Wah wah wah wahh*

I'm already sick of Gus Johnson's voice.
Don't get me started...guess I'll be watching KState.
Seriously, no joke, no sarcasm, I'm not kidding, I am starting to believe that Nick Saban is the antichrist. I'm done with college football for a while. I'm not watching the B1G shitshow or any other bowl game this year.
