After the game, Bo Schembechler told Bruce, "I always mind losing to Ohio State but I didn't mind so much today."

I watched this yesterday on espn classic, great game. They really showed up to play and played really hard for there coach, even if they couldn't stop morris.

Coach Bruce is wearing the charcoal gray pinstriped suit with fedora that he first busted out at the Cotton Bowl the previous season.
I was a senior for Bruce's last game. It was really bittersweet. Speilman went totally HAM....and then they went off on A&M in the bowl game.
For the life of me I can't remember. Did Bruce coach in the Cotton Bowl?(I'm thinking not.) And if not, who was the "interim" coach, until they hired Cooper?

I was at that game and gladly risk the ire of the fat and clueless AA security guards and rushed the field to join Spielman and the boys to celebrate Earle's last great victory. I still laugh loudly about the anger in the stadium announcer's voice as he continously yelled at the OSU fans and team to clear the field so that abortion of a band could perform their post game show... if you've never seen 10,000 middle fingers extended upward in response - it is a beautiful thing to see!!!
