You're right Sarah. Why do all Buckeye athletic teams (or at least Football and Basketball) always start out slow.... It's really agitating, and it will hurt you against better teams

Smith can't defer as much as he did last year. No reason why Thomas should have 3 times more shot attempts than Smith if he's going to miss most of them.

That assist by Craft badger was ridiculous! If Craft badger can drive and kick out like that consistently, this team is going to be extremely tough to beat.

Someone came up with Scarlet Mamba or Smith last year in the live thread.
Craft badger orginated there as well. Not sure who came up with that one. I just remember I started refering to Caft as Craft badger becasue I felt that he needed a good nickname. I was hearing all about Tyran Maithu from LSU since it was around Heisman and bowl selection time last year. I felt Craft was even more like the honey badger than Maithu.
Good finish to the half. I'd like to us working on trying to develop some alternative forms of offense in the second half, though.

I had a feeling Craft was going to shoot better this year. So far, he is on fire! Need that because I can see that scoring will be very reliant on Thomas and if he gets streaky, not good! Need to see some more of Q in there, IMO.

Its a work in progress, this is just the season opener for God sake. I do have a faith they will improve down the road.
The feed say this is airing on BTN student U. Does that mean this is a student broadcast? I think Sylvester graduated a while ago but he could be a grad student I guess. If so, pretty cool. These guys aren't bad.
I think the only shot this team has a chance of making a big run is getting a guy like Craft as a scorer. Ross has a shot at being a scorer, but he is such a liability on defense that it is hard to rely on him. If Ravenel could develop an inside post move to score about 8-10 per game that would be another big help, but maybe Amir will come on and make that moot. Craft certainly looks ready to be a scorer tonight, we'll have to see how he does against some better competition.
Just saw where Noah Vonleh just committed to Indiana. Damn. Need some good recruiting news here. Hate seeing these kids go other places when there are probably 2-3 programs that are currently better than OSU. I just don't get it.
