Tonight brings us Ohio trying to rebound from their first loss of the season, the always fun VT at Miami and a battle of two Foghorn Leghorn Directional Universities.
Aside from the Bobcats, none of these teams are particularly good football teams, but if history has proven anything, it's that bad teams often play great games. You may also want to tune in to guess the number of fans on hand for kickoff at Sun Life Stadium.

Foghorn Leghorn Directional Universities - priceless. I live in Virginia and if you think we are a pessimistic bunch with close Buckeye wins, let me tell you, Hokie fans are awfully gloomy this season. Oh look, nice return for the Canes, both of their fans must be going crazy.
Hopefully VaTech isn't in a program downslide. They're looking mighty average right now. Since they are our big OOC opponent in 2014, I hope they don't trend they way Cal did, and wind up as an opponent without much National respect.
Any chance we start hearing the first grumblings of "maybe it's time for Beamer to Go" soon?
Florida State and Penn State both waited to long, in replacing their Iconic coaches, maybe VaTech will not want to make the same mistake.
I hope not for Beamer, I've always thought he and Bill Snyder were the best coaches who have never won a championship. I always remember seeing Snyder after Ell Roberson threw a pick to Chris Gamble in the Fiesta Bowl deep in KSU territory, you can tell he's teaching on the sideline. It's that kind of patience and commitment that leads to a #2 ranking with JUCO players. Beamer does the same.

I like Beamer a lot, too, but I have to give the edge to Snyder. It's not that Beamer has necessarily had better talent than Synder, but that he should have. Tidewater region, VA.
Impressive showing for Canes fans. Bottom deck is almost half full.
Bogus personal foul penalty on Miami's Dion Bush. Dude just layed-out Va-Tech's RB.
All 10 Miami fans were pissed!

said no one ever lol
~Because we couldn't go for three~
Oh. Ewwwww.
100% sure there is fake crowd noise being played on Miami's stadium speakers. The Senven Nation chant was loud as hell (for the 1/5th full stadium) then cut off dead silent, right before 2nd half kickoff. Fake @ss bastards.
ESPN definitely has the crowd mic'd up in some way too.
Small private college in that economy, playing in that big of a stadium not sure it's the fan's fault.
The sad thing is that's what pro teams do.
"I like to kick Michigan's ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."
Va Tech has not been in my ESPN fan poll since I started doing it a few years back. They are the over rated frauds OSU is accused of being. They are riding the coat tails of Mike Vick to this day. They play decent defense in a bad confrence. Not as bad as the Big East, but hey, their champ gave up 70 to WVU team.
I remember back in 2007 when they lost to LSU 48-7 early in the season and then lost to Boston College later and many of their fans were actually angry when LSU got into the championship game instead of them.
That's not true. They were mad OHIO STATE got in instead of them. What a bunch of weirdos.

For being labeled Foghorn Leghorn Directional Universities, I'd take MTSU or WKU over anyone else playing tonight except perhaps Ohio, and I think WKU-Ohio would be an awesome game.
Show them Ohio's here!
I'm starting to get sick of the Beamer special teams meme. Yeah, his teams may have been outstanding at them back in the day... but lately it feels like every time I catch a Va Tech game, there's some special teams breakdown and the commentators mention how this is "atypical of a Frank Beamer" team. I think they just showed a graphic of 5+ breakdowns in just this game!
Urban is the NEW king of special teams... once he gets those punt blocks against OSU fixed, of course :)
Western Kentucky has one of the best up and coming coaches in the country, he did wonders for Harbaugh at Stanford.
My wife goes to that directional Kentucky university so I don't appreciate the condescending remarks.
Willie Taggert will be coaching the big boys soon enough. That program was a train wreck until he took over. He took a team that had not won a game in nearly two years to competing for their conference title. He will probably get them to their first bowl game in school history this year.
Jack Harbaugh was a long time coach at WKU. You might know his sons John and Jim Harbaugh, who are both head coaches in the NFL.
Robert Reynolds, who played LB on the Bucks 2002 NC team, had an older brother named Patrick who also won a NC with WKU in 2002.
I was not being condescending in any way. I think he is one of the best up and coming as I said coaches in the country, just as I think Darrell Hazell is. I agree he has been doing a great job and the university should be applauded for hiring him.
My comments were not directed towards you in any way. I wrote it in response to the "Foghorn Leghorn, directional university," comments by the writer of this article.
I apologize for any misunderstanding.
Ah, okay I thought that my comment might be confused with sarcasm.
The crowd at the Va Tech / Miami game was embarassing.
