I am not a solid believer in Florida. I think they are very solid on defense, which is obvious. That offense hasn't done anything. Why Georgia didn't bother to show up against South Carolina evades me. I think Georgia can win today. I believe I will have a Scotch this afternoon. I have Oregon number 1 in my EPN fan poll. With Alabama number 2. I think Oklahoma drills Notre Dame. Becuase of defense. I was a bit suprised to see OU number 12 in total defense. The point on College Football Live was Notre Dame defense against the OU offene. Well, what about that inept ND offense against a really good defense? The Domers are in danger of being shut out.

MSU and BYU both have very good defenses and ND scrapped together just enough offense to beat those teams. Stanford's defense is pretty stout, too. ND won't get shut out by Oklahoma.

Problem for ND is that this is the best offense they've faced. I have Oklahoma winning but not covering. Something like 24 or 20 to 17.

So true! If nothing else, the NC v NC St game is usually pretty heated and action-packed, silly as it seems in comparison to a real rivalry like The Game.

Also, to be fair, I remember some Big Ten fans ridiculing the Big Ten office for saying that they wanted to preserve a certain number of 12 noon games. These fans suggested that 12 noon games were an anachronism, etc. Thanks to that mentality, though, the 12 noon slot now almost always sucks. And then, as a result, the marquee games are jammed into the 3:30 and late slots, meaning that we have to switch back & forth between 3-4 games at the same time (two is ideal).

UNC vs NCSU is a good rivalry game. It also happens to be the only watchable game right now.

I'm watching the NC v. NC St game and the crowd is doing the Seven Nation Army thing. Can we please stop using that now in the 'Shoe? As many others have suggested, it's time for a new power rally song, such as the hip hop groove TBDBITL has been playing lately (also suggested by others)?

I know man. It used to be something that was kind of intimidating when you were in an opposing team's stadium, but now it's just "Oh look, we're in ANOTHER stadium that does Seven Nation Army". I think they need to create a recording of Buckeye Swag and somehow replace SNA with that on the loudspeakers. Would love to have something original and created by Ohio State students be the pumpup music.

We need to start a campaign to replace SNA with Swag. The campaign would start, virtually, here at 11W. After we've written our manifesto and enlisted our shock troops, we'll take the campaign to tailgates, brew pubs, house parties, and coffee bars! Viva la revolucion!

Wow, I was literally JUST thinking this as I was raking my front lawn. The only thing I like about it is I can hear the stadium from my house when they play that song....but yeah it's time to change it up.

We should make a petition to change the song to.........."Crazy Train"...little Ozzie in the shoe? Any suggestions?

I hate to admit it, but I'm almost glad this Tennessee - South Carolina game is on this early. I'm getting a little sick of force-feeding myself lousy B1G matchups.

It has revealed something interesting, though. South Carolina's stadium is about as loud as a polo match. So much for the whole SEC-stadiums-are-so-much-louder-than-everyone-else bullshit. If your game is at noon, your game won't be loud. FACT.

That would be pretty inappropriate. But since they've alreayd gotten rid of "Sweet Caroline" for the "....touching me, touching you" lyrics (which they denied) I don't think it's very likely.

Although, I have to admit I'd probably get a solid chuckle out of some opposing teams playing some suggestive tunes like "My ding-a-ling" by Chuck Berry.

NW simply cannot tolerate prosperity. When they're up 2-3 TDs in the second half, they're compelled to let the other team back into the game, and then try to win the game all over again.
