Elliott Makes Six
A big recruiting weekend finally yielded some big results, as St. Louis (Mo) John Burroughs RB Ezekiel Elliott committed to Urban Meyer and Ohio State following his visit to Columbus, confirming the news to me via text message.
The 6-0/195 Elliott made the trip up to campus with his mother, his second visit in the last few months. While home state Missouri and Notre Dame were thought to be big players, Eliott chose to end things and pick the Buckeyes today, after he got a more in-depth look at the university and his family could see everything he loved about the Buckeyes during his first trip.
We will catch up with Ezekiel later tonight to get the scoop on OSU's sixth verbal pledge for the class of 2013, but for now we enjoy some good news courtesy of Urban Meyer as we get through the hangover of last night's Final Four loss.

Nice to have some good news.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
Welcome to the familiy Ezekiel. I love the highlights.
Excited for more to come!
^Agreed
Though one can not be too careful on April Fools Day. Though, I think Alex could come up with something better than Mr. Elliott's commitment.
According to Alex's Twitter, the next commitment might be TE Josh Mcneil.
Great news for Buckeye Nation and thanks Alex!
Must be Jayme Thompson, Billy Price could have let the cat out of the bag.
McNeil said he's 90% sure of where he wants to go, so a commitment could be coming sooner rather than later.
Who is it Alex? No April fools please.....
Ooops, my bad I tried putting two and two together but jumped the gun.
Any chance it is Anzalone?
No chance its him, its Thompson if anyone.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
Great news, the kid has some serious skills.
Really happy about this one-- Everything I've read indicates that he's a great kid, does a lot in his community, and think he'll represent OSU very well.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Welcome to Buckeye Nation, Ezekial! Have a great Senior season!
Great to hear some good news today after a somber night. Go Bucks and thank you Urban Meyer and Eze E for a good pick me up! You heard that Eze E nickname from me first before it gets popular...just kidding.

Great pick up, going to be a great buckeye.
Welcome to Columbus Ezekiel!!!!!
EZEKIAL, NOAH, ADOLPHUS.... Let's go.
If nothing else: Marionaire.
Perhaps Im missing something...I've been following 2012 &13 recruiting pretty closely. Can someone tell me where the big interest in Jayme Thompson comes from? He's rated as the #40 prospect in the state and we are only getting 15-19 recruits in 2013. There are much bigger fish in the sea (as far as I see) and I thought UFM wanted to get the best player possible at every position. It's April 1...is this the best we think we can do with 10 months of recruiting to go and Cravens and Bell, among others, still out there? I hope not. Someone enlighten me please.
According to Rivals, Jayme is 13th in his position and 146th nationally.

I got my info off 247 where hie is not ranked nationally and is ranked the # 58 safty in the 2013 class. Also lets not forget about Dymonte Thomas, who everyone seems to think Urban can flip if he wants him.
Too lazy to check right now, but if I recall right Cam Burrows is somewhere in the 50s on 247 even tho everywhere else has him a consensus 5 star.
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
From the Massillon Combine:
4.77 40
4.40 SH - shuttle
34 PB - power ball
32.9 VJ - vertical
82.86 SPARQ
I recall seeing other 40 times from that combine. Is it just me, or did everybody's times seem a bit slow?
They were all electronically timed at the combine. This adds a couple tenths of a second to 40 times done by hand held stop watch.
Great pick up by Urban, most days I would be thrilled, but with no verbal returns of Thomas or Sully, this news just wont sink in for a while!
Pay It Forward!
Lenzelle Smith and Aaron Craft are coming back!
Anybody got buzz on how this affects the recruitment of Derrick Green? I'm very excieted to see Elliott in this class Green is the one I really wanted to see in this class from day 1.
Nice to see a gray box. :) welcome aboard eze e!

Jayme Thompson just dropped WVU for the Buckeyes! No. 7 is in the fold!

6'/200 lbs. or will be, in anycase. I like this one, because he looks very quick and determined.
Who cares what he's ranked and what his measurables are all that matters is can the kid play? If Urban thinks so than I'll take it! Welcome kid!

Some pretty good stuff in this interview with Ezekial. He also confirms he was recruited to play a "Percy Harvin" role.
