Which is the better matchup for Ohio State...Kansas or North Carolina? Not sure who to root for in the evening game.
I'd prefer to get another crack at Kansas, this time with Sully and a neutral floor. Whether Marshall plays or not for UNC, I wouldn't be all that excited to see how we match up with Zeller and Henson. Just my personal preference though I think both teams are very beatable.
Kentucky is the only team left I think we wouldn't beat. Maybe I've just bought into the media hype, but I don't see it. I'd hate for us to lose in, yet again, a National Championship game.
That said... Lets go Baylor!
the media hype is ESPN's contract as the SEC network, or their obligation to promote Kentucky all the time during basketball season without any regard to any other school that isn't North Carolina or Duke. Media hype means nothing, to put it simply.

Kentucky is tough, but to be honest, I'd rather BEAT the best! While I'm rooting for Baylor, I think if we get past UNC/Kansas then it'd be great to see how we match up against the Wildcats.
I'm not too proud to say I'd rather not beat the best. If my team can win a national title like Connecticut did last year, where the best team they beat (going by seed) was San Diego State, I'll take that every time.
Baylor is a good matchup for Kentucky, but they're a hard team to figure. I wouldn't have been shocked to see them lose their first game (and they looked like they were considering it), but they have the talent to go toe-to-toe with anybody.

Pulling for Baylor and Kansas. I read that Baylor hasnt been to a F4 since 1950. The school is on a roll this year so a F4 would be nice for them... Oh yeah and I hate Kentucky/Cal. I'm sure Kansas fans want to stick it to Roy Williams a second time. Is Marshall out for the remainder of the tourney say they win tonight? I don't want to see or hear about some "miracle comeback" next week.

I don't think he's had any activity since the surgery. Who wins if Baylor meets Louisville in the Final Four?
Roy Williams said in an interview this morning that Marshall practiced yesterday. He didn't go in live drills but was able to dribble and shoot. He said they would make the call whether he can play or not at game time today. I think he will definitely play in the next round if they win today.
As who to pull for.....it would be nice to get revenge on Kansas for this year, and because Bill Self goes incognito as soon as he dons a ball cap. Then to also exact revenge on Kentucky for last year. Doesn't Sully have a photo of the Kentucky game winner hung in his locker? Motivation seems to drive this team.

Watching Kentucky right now....they seem scary good.
Most teams in this day and age aren't used to an opponent that pushes the pace like Kentucky does. It takes some getting used to. Baylor looks like 5 guys who can't figure out what's happening.

5 future NBA players with coach Cal. That's scary. Like him or not, Calipari can recruit and coach talent with the best of them. I think we could match up with them though. I hope we find out.

Wow, Baylor's getting dominated.
It's not even like Kentucky is playing so well. Baylor just doesn't play defense, and they're giving Kentucky easy shots in transition as well as easy shots when they run the halfcourt. It also doesn't help that Baylor's shooters can make anything.

Maybe not. Craft would just laugh and beg to stay in.
Davis is still hobbling around and in obvious pain, why he's playing with a 21 point lead is beyond me.
Coach Cal probably just wants to keep the level of play uptempo, but with him limping around it's not going to do them any good. That injury didn't look nearly as bad as it probably is.
I don't care who we play the next two games (and yes, there will be two more games). I'm beginning to think this is a team of destiny.

Boy, these announcers and the media want a UK-UNC rematch so bad. First of all, that's not happening. Second of all, I don't get the desire for a rematch from a bi-partisan stance. Wouldn't you rather see a new matchup in the title game between two great basketball teams that haven't played this season?

The first match up was pretty epic, and unlike football each new basketball game is so much different (just look at our ttun matchups this year). That said I want KU to win and end that possibility.
Kansas-UNC is being played at an amazingly high level. If the winner comes out like this against the Buckeyes, we'll need a Duke-level game just to hang.

Both teams are shooting well and playing suspect defense. That won't happen two games in a row.

Kentucky looks very scary.
KY is very scary. I agreed with the pundits before this tournament even began that its KY vs Everyone Else. Are they beatable? Yep. That's been proven. But talent wise they have done well. Our edge would be defense.
I'm not really worried about anyone; you get to the Final Four and it's about who wants it. This OSU team should want it. Anyone who is playing OSU is saying "how are we going to stop Sullinger and Thomas and play around craft?" Add in a few intangibles and this team has a great chance against anyone

KU v UNC. The critical 'block' in the paint where the defender left his feet and collided with the shooter midair warranted a replay. None given by CBS. Hmmm.

Buckeyes vs. Kansas ROUND 2. I like our odds. To play them as competitively as we did in their house sans Sully, I certainly think we can beat them with Sully on a neutral floor. Bring on KU, then UK! Or UL, we can take out another team along I-71!

You hit it on the head. The refs have been really bad in a few games. Ticky tack calls or WORSE (NC/Kansas game) flagrant calls, particularly on charges were ignored. At least in our game they called EVERYTHING. In the NC/Kansas game they were inconsistent. Which is worse. I'm very disappointed that coaches have actually had to scream at the NCAA commish during the game that they are at the mercy of the zebras. And at times, it does seem like that. Thoughts? Seems worse than previous years.
