Here's what I can say from watching this game: MSU is a very good team. But I can say, right now with 100% confidence that they will not win the championship. When they get in the Sweet 16 on, against similarly talented teams, refs from outside the Big 10 will not allow them to hold and shove opposing teams like they do in the conference schedule. Green especially gets away with more holds and grabs than any other player in the conference.
You sound like Matt Painter. Difference in the game was we just couldn't make anything in the last 10-12 minutes. It happens. I actually feel better about our chances than I did after yesterday's eviscerating of UM.
total bs today with the way they let msu foul sully. Ohio State is by far the better team then MSU.
Anyway who gives a fuck that game means nothing in the long run. Take the 2 seed and run the table.

Sarcasm, my friend. I wouldn't trade Craft for any other college PG. Look at my posting history or live blogs -I'm definitely a Craft fan.
That was a frustrating second half. Give MSU mad props, they did an excellent job of executing down the stretch. The bottom line is that our guys did not make their shots, nor did they share the ball. Just like a lot of our loses this year, we did not share the ball like a team. We tried to play five separete one-on-one games and everyone tried to do it all. After the last two games, it was frustrating to watch us today.
I disagree completely. We played great today. Both teams played great. Everytime we lose it doesn't have to be because we played terribly or not as a team. It came down to the end and Sully choked. That's it. Great game from both teams.

I guess I'm still high from last night's win, and believe the potential of this team is ridiculously high. It was a great game. I do think our execution down the stretch is what did us in, though. Give both team credit, neither put their heads down when the momentum wasn't going their way. Great game for both teams, and hopefully the final kick in the backside to make it through to a Final Four.
I wouldn't put all the choking on Sully. Bufaord, Thomas and Sully all had nice looks at the end of the game to either get us closer or to tie and none of them threw up anything close to a good shot. The only one that came through at the end was Craft.
However, as long as OSU stays out of foul trouble during the tourney we should make a deep run. I'm still not sure how deep we can really go though. I will have to wait until the brackets come out to make a final prediction on that.

12 points in the last 14 minutes isn't great.
I think this team is capable of beating anybody, and they have a championship-caliber defense, but can they avoid the 40% shooting night 6 straight games? I'm not seeing much evidence they can.
In other news, Crean's daughter is freaking me out.

As for this team, when they are on, they will beat anyone. However, it's when they are off that worries me. They have a hard time getting into any sort of offensive rhythm.
There is only one team that really "scares" me - that'd be Kentucky.
I think OSU can beat them - but I just want it to be in the NCAA Championship Game. So, I hope OSU is on the other side of the bracket as a 2 seed.
btw - in the college game, isn't the rule that the players in the lane during a foul shot have to wait until after the ball hits the rim before they leave their lane space? Because right before Craft picked up that 4th foul, on the missed free throw by Wood, Green clearly left the lane before the ball even left Wood's hands....(then our two guys pinched down, and of course the ball went right where they would've been and Craft got a foul on the sideline after MSU got the rebound)....just wondering

That's technically the rule, but its ignored by every team.
As for Kentucky, I wouldn't mind getting them. I want a chance at revenge on them for last year SO badly.
