So things were going much better when I had the Buckeyes outside the Top 25. Let's hope the move out of the ranks helps them clean up the season by beating their final two opponents in "rival" Penn State and RIVAL Michigan. Take a look at the Week 12 Ballot and tell us what you think.

LSU Tigers It was only 14-7 LSU at the half, but the Tigers got angry and outscored Western Kentucky 28-2 in the second half to move to 10-0 (6-0) on the season. The Tigers travel to Ole Miss next week before their big home match up against Arkansas in the final week of the season. --
Oklahoma State Cowboys The beneficiary of Boise State and Stanford losing is Oklahoma State who moved up to #2 in our poll after a 66-6 win over Texas Tech. The Cowboys go to Iowa State before their final test against the Sooners at home. UP2
Alabama Crimson Tide It would sure be interesting to see what would happen if LSU or Oklahoma State lost before season's end. Would the Tide sneak into the MNC as a non-conference champion? That is yet to be seen, but Bama continued to work toward that goal in a 24-7 win against Mississippi State. UP2
Oregon Ducks Oregon proved once again that they are king of the Pac 12, beating up on Stanford 53-30 in Paolo Alto. LaMichael James was the player of the game, rushing for 146 yards and 3 TDs in the win. UP2
Oklahoma Sooners The Sooners were on a bye this past week, as they geared up for their road trip to Waco to take on Robert Griffin III and the Baylor Bears this coming week. UP2
Arkansas Razorbacks Arkansas smells blood in the water and Tennessee got the brunt of it as the Razorbacks dominated the Volunteers 49-7. Dennis Johnson ran for 97 yards on 11 carries with 2 touchdowns in the win. UP2
Clemson Tigers Talk about a scare, Clemson trailed Wake Forest 28-21 headed into the fourth quarter, but won the final quarter 10-0 to save their season. Clemson's offense continues to be a juggernaut, compiling 522 yards to WFU's 317 in the contest. UP2
Virginia Tech Hokies In a road trip to Atlanta, the Hokies took care of business in beating Georgia Tech 37-26. Logan Thomas continues to come into his own, notching 5 touchdowns (3 passing, 2 rushing) in the Thursday night contest. UP2
Stanford Cardinal For the second year in a row, it was Oregon who put a road block in the way of Stanford's mission to win the Pac 12, and this year, potentially the national title. Andrew Luck threw 3 TDs in the game, but it wasn't enough to overcome his two interceptions, limited Cardinal rushing attack, and poor output on defense. DOWN 7
Houston Cougars With Boise State losing to TCU, Houston puts itself in great shape to earn a BCS bid. The Cougars demolished Tulane 73-17 to move to 10-0 (6-0) on the season. UP1
Georgia Bulldogs Georgia rolled over Auburn 45-7 and is now one win over Kentucky away from the SEC East title. The Bulldogs got Isaiah Crowell back from suspension and it sure helped, as the freshman ran for 132 yards and a TD in the win. UP1
Boise State Broncos Boise State was up 35-28 with time ticking away before TCU scored with 1:05 remaining and converted a two-point conversion to sting the Broncos on the "Smurf Turf". Boise State not only loses sight of a MNC or BCS appearance, they are also now trailing TCU for the MWC title. DOWN 9
Nebraska Cornhuskers In an extremely emotional game, Nebraska fought off a late Penn State rally to defeat the Nittany Lions 17-14 in Happy Valley. Rex Burkhead continues his reign as "best white running back since Toby Gerhart", rushing for 121 yards and a score in the win. The Huskers travel to Ann Arbor next week in a key Legends Division game against Michigan.  UP1
Michigan State Spartans Iowa has had Michigan State's number during the past decade, but the Spartans bucked the trend, beating Iowa 37-21 in Kinnick Stadium. Kirk Cousins threw all over the Hawkeyes, recording 260 yards and 3 TDs to keep Sparty atop the Legends Division standings. UP1
Wisconsin Badgers Unless Penn State pulls off the unthinkable or the Badgers unexpectedly falter, it looks like UW and MSU will meet in the B1G Championship. The Badgers improved to 8-2 (4-2) with a 43-17 win against Minnesota at TCF Bank Stadium. Wisco now controls it's own destiny, as wins against Illinois and PSU guarantee them an appearance in Indianapolis. UP1
South Carolina Gamecocks In a game many pegged to be an upset, South Carolina "defied the odds" in beating Florida 17-12. The Gamecocks look less impressive every week, but are getting the job done and are in a heated battle with the Georgia Bulldogs for the SEC East crown.  UP1
Kansas State Wildcats In an exciting game that went to four overtimes, Kansas State prevailed 53-50 over Texas A&M. The Wildcats are now 8-2 (5-2) on the season and don't have a chance to win the Big 12 title, but will still wind up in a pretty solid bowl game. UP1
Southern Miss. Golden Eagles In an exciting finish, USM kept their spot in the rankings, beating UCF 30-29. The Golden Eagles gave up a late touchdown, but stopped the two-point try with no time left on the clock to preserve their spot in the Conference USA title game against either Houston or Tulsa. UP1
Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State outscored Nebraska 14-7 in the second half, but the 10-0 hole created in the first half had them just short in their first game without Joe Paterno. The road doesn't get any easier for PSU, with road games against the Buckeyes and Badgers to finish the season. DOWN 6
Michigan Wolverines Michigan improved to 8-2 (4-2) and kept it's division hopes alive with a 31-14 win against Illinois on the road. The Wolverines will host Nebraska and the Buckeyes to finish out the season and need to win out and have Michigan State lose out to make the B1G Title Game. UP2
TCU Horned Frogs A touchdown and two point conversion with 1:05 remaining gave the Horned Frogs a road victory against Boise State. Casey Pachall out-gunned Kellen Moore, throwing for 473 yards and 5 TDs to overcome just 37 TCU rushing yards in the win. UP4
Florida State Seminoles Up 20-7 after three quarters, FSU didn't let a late Miami rally stop them, as they defeated the rival Hurricanes 23-19 in Tallahassee. FSU can't win the ACC, but can finish at a strong 9-3 with wins over Virginia and Florida to finish the season. --
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is welcomed back to the BlogPoll Ballot after moving to 7-3 on the season with a 45-21 win over Maryland in South Bend. Tommy Rees had possibly his best performance of the season, completing 30 of 38 passes for 296 yards and 2 TDs against 0 interceptions in the win. The Irish take on Boston College at home before traveling to Stanford for the final game of the season. --
West Virginia Mountaineers A solid effort by the Mountaineers, aided by a Zach Collaros injury, helped WVU defeat Cincinnati 24-21 in Paul Brown Stadium on Saturday. The Mountaineers only managed 32 yards rushing on 32 carries, but Geno Smith's 372 passing yards and a fumble recovery for a touchdown helped Dana Holgersen's team improve to 7-3 (3-2) on the season. --
Baylor Bears Robert Griffin III had 415 total yards and 4 touchdowns in a 31-30 Baylor win over Kansas. The Bears are now 6-3 (3-3) on the season and their performance against Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Texas to finish the season will tell us how good or bad they really are. --
Dropouts: Cincinnati Bearcats, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Ohio St. Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns
