Is it my tv, or is the blue of UofM's jerseys just a bit off this year? It's a different blue than the helmet.
I haven't noticed. But I will say I'm from Delaware so I grew up watching them in bizarro-UM jerseys. Problem was UD's colors are royal blue and yellow. So the jerseys were royal blue and the helmets were darker like Michigan's blue. It wasn't pretty. They've finally lightened the helmets though.

Well that's because the have a heisman trophy winning qb, a defensive genius and a true visionary, meatchicken man at the helm.... Until they play a decent team (no, notre dame sucks) then they will have a running qb in a pocket passing offense, far below average talent on D, and a hc that would be best served in a hot dog eating contest. Which is convenient because the WHOLE DAMN STATE SMELLS LIKE HOT DOG WATER!

I agree, but SD State isn't a slouch. Brady Hoke, as much as I bash on him, is inevitably going to be a good hire for Michigan.
I'll now step outside and attempt to pull my retinas out with hot pliers.

I think he'll be good for them in the long run as well, but this year, at least, they don't have the size or defensive talent to hang once the B1G schedule kicks in.
I think they'll definitely be improved, may even get to 9-3 with that schedule. But as others have mentioned, let's see that defense against B1G offenses. Also, it'll be interesting to see if they're actually able to limit Denard's touches (I'm going to guess no) so he takes less hits.

Wow. Amazing that little Smith was able to run right through the SDSU D like that. SDSU tackles as badly as any team I've seen this year (which says a lot after last Saturday).
