If you want to see Cameron Heyward play in the NFL next season, you won't likely have a long drive. The Steelers selected the Buckeye defensive end with the 31st pick in the first round to cap a run of five Big Ten defensive linemen taken in the first round.

There's a lot to like about the pick starting with Heyward getting emotional when the realization hit that he'd be playing pro ball in the same town his father starred at while in college. Heyward will also have the opportunity to play for an elite team and under the tutelage of former Buckeye Dick LeBeau, who often taps into his alma mater for talent.

After not having a player selected in the first round of last season's draft, Heyward gives OSU its 17th first round selection since 2000.
