I re-watched the 3rd and goal play. It failed because TP did not unload immediately, as Stoney had broken free and was wide open. Put that one on Terrelle.

How are the dropsyes JT's fault? How are the dropseys TP's fault? This is a team game and the team is failing. But the score is only 7-3.
It's just maddening as a fan, because Tressel wins B10 titles, goes to BCS games, has won a MNT, and so forth (!), but he's got to be one of the hardest coaches to watch for fans of that team. We hardly ever just go out and take charge, and 9.5 times out of 10 we completely out-talent the team we're playing.

Just to clarify on the play where Jermale Hines mugged Robinson: Normally on a slip screen the back is behind the LOS. In that case it would NOT be pass interference. Since the back was past the LOS there was indeed a penalty, ineligible receiver down field (5 yards, repeat down).
If the refs had been paying attention, a procedural penalty would have been called on Iowa and the PI called on OSU. In this case the penalties would have offset. Since neither was called the result was the same.
