DePriest Rolls With Tide

As expected, coveted 5-star linebacker Trey DePriest of Springfield made his decision Friday evening to verbally commit to the University of Alabama. Ohio State was widely viewed in the process as his second choice.

Some believed DePriest's zero hour visit to Columbus may have meant a last second change of heart, but DePreist stayed true to much of the recruiting buzz in deciding to take his talents head out of state and go south to play for Nick Saban & the Crimson Tide. Florida, LSU, and West Virginia were said to also be in the mix.

Oh well, no surprise.

Ian_InsideTheShoe on 30 July 2010 - 5:20pm #

Sigh..although it's a hit, it's still a fantastic class. This did not make or break it.

HotHandsHerbie on 30 July 2010 - 5:22pm #

who cares...film wasn't all that impressive

Brian on 30 July 2010 - 5:22pm #

Would've like to have had him but not a huge miss. There are other talented LB's where there is mutual interest. Best of luck to him.

blazers34 on 30 July 2010 - 5:24pm #

Its Friday. Im going to go get a beer.

Good luck at Bama!

Jacob on 30 July 2010 - 5:26pm #

Good luck, Trey! I hope Buckeye Nation joins me in wishing you the best. Would have been great to have you play for us, but you gotta do what you gotta do. As for the Bucks...we'll be okay.

Me on 30 July 2010 - 5:29pm #

Goodbye to another traitor...have fun in hickville!

OSUWillard on 30 July 2010 - 5:30pm #

Apparently he want's to spend some time with an agent. Oh wait, that doesn't happend at Alabama...

BMoney on 30 July 2010 - 5:31pm #

Best of luck to Trey. Hope we get to beat him and the Tide in the near future. Go Bucks!

Ian_InsideTheShoe on 30 July 2010 - 5:34pm #

You don't mean...the pimps???? *horror face*

Bucksfan on 30 July 2010 - 5:40pm #

The Rivals link you provided for Depriest says he's a 4-star, not a 5 star...though Scout has him at 5.

Anyway, it is a loss when you lose the state's best linebacker. Though considering Laurinaitis and Hawk were 3-stars, Ohio State obviously has no deficiency if you're looking to make Linebacker your college major.

Luke on 30 July 2010 - 5:50pm #

I realized the error of my way, but I'll bet a Tressel nickel he's bumped up when everything's said and done.

Matt on 30 July 2010 - 5:51pm #

Good luck to you Trey, and although you didn't select the Buckeyes, I think you handled the recruitment process with class. If Bama stays at the top, I think you'll be facing off against a former highschool teammate in the not too distant future.

We are still in the running for Price and Grant. Grant is a 5* and Price is a 3* but his stock is rising fast! I hope we get Grant!

BuckeyeChuck on 30 July 2010 - 6:32pm #

Ugh. The "take his talents" meme can't disappear fast enough.

I hope this isn't the sign of problems ahead, because we're not used to seeing Tressel lose in-state guys he really wants.

some people are wringing their hands because of depriest and hicks, but a) have we ever really had reason to be concerned about our LBs during the Tressel regime?, b) both of these kids had extenuating circumstances surrounding their recruitment, and c) the answer to a is no

Not surprised in the least. The kid liked TTUN as a kid. Ohio State wasn't in his heart. So what. Adios.

Just as there are kids from Ohio on other teams around the country, I think he's going to regret turning down an OSU offer.

well, at least there wasn't a show about his decision. even though he hasn't made as big a name for himself as lequit around the country.

Brian on 30 July 2010 - 9:21pm #

People are idiots, these kids have yet to play 1 down of their senior year. He may end up being great, he may not end up ever seeing the field, it happens you know. Price will be a fine alternative. You don't know how these kids will turn out until they actually get to college and play anyway.

I think some people, for some crazy reason, just don't like Jim Tressel and will criticize every decision he makes and every recruit they don't land.

Brian on 30 July 2010 - 9:24pm #

I said the same thing the other day, you don't go to Michigan because they are horrible and will be for a few more years, the next best way to piss off Ohio State is to play for an SEC school. You'd like to get a guy with his potential, but you may get one in Price anyway, just because he hasn't been hyped before his senior year doesn't mean he won't be great.

Besides, there are plenty of kids on the Buckeye Roster from other states with great high school football, you lose a linebacker from Ohio, you get one from Pennsylvania or Florida, no big deal.

Naptown Buckeye on 30 July 2010 - 9:38pm #

I live in carolina... the girls are no better or worse looking than girls in ohio. People have sex and make babies. Some are good looking. Some are ugly. This doesn't chqange because of where you live in the country. To claim otherwise is dumb. Google imaqge search alabama wal mart and see what comes up and then talk about ohio girls.

well, i felt like my comment was pretty obviously tongue in cheek, but i guess i learned my lesson to never to joke about SEC fan fashion.

seriously though, every fanbase has a "uniform," OSU fans do the same thing with player jerseys. if i'm being COMPLETELY honest i think the way a lot of football fans in the south get dressed to the nines for football games is incredibly silly but c'est la vie

bamamatt on 30 July 2010 - 10:54pm #

My bad....I thought you guys were talking linebackers....Honest mistake....Doran Grant is pretty much in the bag for you guys....unless Lame Kiffy gets him out to La La Land for a weekend....then all bets are off.

oh, i'm cranky for a whole host of reasons

bamamatt on 30 July 2010 - 10:56pm #

I'm just messing around...this blog is pretty cool. Gotta love a rabid fan base. It is why I love college football.

bamamatt on 30 July 2010 - 11:00pm #

Blazers, we are after Curtis Grant but I think he winds up in Gainesville. Doran Grant is on our list but everyone here expects him to sign with Ohio State and we are not even really seriously in it...although we would love to have his 4.3 speed...

Sgt. Elias on 30 July 2010 - 11:02pm #

Only grey in spring and winter. Given, winter lasts about 5 months. Anyway, we're not hurting at LB. The kid probably didn't wan't to sit a year or two. Shit happens. We're still going to be really good. We manufacture LB's from the aether that is tOSU badassery. Not worried a'tall. The dude was a Meatchicken fan growing up *vomit*, color me not surprised he strayed...Best of luck Trey. At least he had the sense not go to the D-Rod regime o' fail.

bamamatt on 30 July 2010 - 11:02pm #

Uh...he "really wanted" DePriest...but no worries...all other targets are nailed down and Bucks finish with a top 5 class and maybe top 3. Nobody is going to catch Texas this year but Bucks may even finish with a top 2 class. Still have some big targets left in state. How many 5 stars are left in Ohio?

bamamatt on 30 July 2010 - 11:05pm #

Let me correct you about the Bama linebackers currently....You may want to go back and check out our last 3 recruiting classes before making insane comments that he will have an easier time seeing the field at Alabama. I will match our stable with yours any day.

Tressel has no problem with recruiting potential, when this class is all said and done it'll be 3 top 5 classes in 4 years. Last year was an off year, but every school has one now and then, plus we knew it would be a small class and those recruiting sites give higher rankings to schools with bigger classes. So while last year's class was small in number and not highly ranked, it's till going to be a potent class.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 12:32am #

Yes just because a guy lands on the scene at a school with a high recruiting rating he'll end up being awesome it always works that way. Bottom line is, he had no chance of seeing the field at Ohio State right away. He would've been a redshirt, and may not have played the year after that redshirt. That's if he pans out, doesn't blow a knee, get busted with by the cops, and all the other things that can happen between now and the time he actually will hit campus.

Dude, stop trying to act like you're some kind of guru....ok Captain Obvious....He is going to have to wait and play at Bama as well...Good lord...We just won the National Championship and have won 24 straight regular season games in a row...we have a few decent players...not Buckeye caliber of course..

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 12:40am #

I'll take her word instead....I'm sure that the Huffington Post has no liberal bias for the stats they compiled either..considering AL is a "red state"....

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 12:46am #

I'm not whining at all, it's a fact the recruiting sites give credit for size of class. Look at the class ratings sometime. The schools that have the highest star average of the class isn't always the school with the top recruiting class.

No one said that the SEC schools were breaking any rules, we just don't think the oversigning method is a good way to do business. At least not for the guys who lose their scholarship or get discarded along the way.

jdp on 31 July 2010 - 12:51am #

The best players are the ones with their heart in it. According to the stories, his 'best' friend is the Bucks' QB of the future. He lives 40 minutes away from the Shoe. Most of his HS team-mates; most of the football fans in his hometown; and, I bet, most of the football fans he has ever known -- are OSU fans. Alabama is the best place for him to make his mark? Harvard or Hawaii would be understandable choices: and even Michigan or USC would have shown some rivalry Chutzpa -- but Alabama? Wishing him the best, hope he dominates LSU and the Gators. And, I hope he gets run over by Roderick Smith in a bowl or two.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 12:53am #

You jump in on a thread where a guy is whining about "over signing" and claim there is no whining...The rules are put into place by the NCAA and Saban follows them...lazy coaches don't like him because he makes them work...He locks down his in state talent and makes the other programs work their asses off to protect their turf...that's the name of the game....Seriously...I've been to Ohio State and competed against one of their sports programs....I've seen your facilities....That place recruits itself....I've been trolling on here but the reality is that I can see why someone would want to go there....Bama is a pretty cool place too and the south east is a great place to live....I have lived all over this country.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 12:56am #

I'm just saying he won't be missed. Ask Sabino and Bell how much room there is for stud LB's at Ohio State. Guys who would've played early and often for other schools. They came in with more fanfare than Depriest has gotten. I'm not acting like a guru, all you do is talk about recruiting classes and how many stars a guy has.

Obviously you want to have great recruiting, but just because some dude at Rivals says a guy is going to be a stud and this guy isn't, doesn't mean shit to me. I want to see what they do on the field in colllege. Last year for instance we miss out on Sharrif Floyd but land Hankins. Hankins is a 3 star and Floyd is a 5. The only difference is Floyd is a little more polished, when in the end, they are probably going to be about the same kind of player.

I'll take a coach that can land a great recruiting class with Pryor and Posey, but also has the eye to spot the talents that were AJ Hawk and James Laurinitis. It's not all about landing 5 star after 5 star. It's landing some of those pieces and being able to spot those other guys.

jdm on 31 July 2010 - 12:57am #

more smear campaigning? this is a popular accusation amongst the haters along with the weather is a nightmare, ohio people can't drive, and other ridiculous statements. i have visited many states in this country (including alabama's gulf shores...which i enjoyed back in '96) and i can tell you that not a single one should boast about the women or the driving. as for the weather in columbus, it is seasonal (normal if you ask me)...and i don't want to hear how you know this to be different because you lived in pennsylvania and you only saw gray skies......which is probably absurd as i have been to pennsylvania in the summer time and it was gorgeous. if you want to stay biased by whatever it is that people tell you about the midwest or want to believe that ohio (or possibly just midwest in general) is this dark hell hole for cranky people then, well, you fit the profile for the rest of the ignoramuses that think the same way (in which case, damn, i don't know if that type of conditioning can be reversed).

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:06am #

You are still playing Captain Obvious...you mean like recognizing a 3 star like Marcel Dareus....a 3 star like Javier Arenas....We are talking about recruiting....Hightower was a 4 star but Saban said he thought he was the best lb recruit in the country...Saban doesn't pay attention to Rivals and I bet Tressel doesn't either...You act like kids waiting around is something unique to Ohio State...All top tier programs have talented kids waiting to get on the field....that is not exclusive to the bucks....I can reel off names of 4 and 5 star players that haven't seen the field at Bama as well.....Tyler Love was one of the "crown jewels of the 2008 class...5 star OT and has not played a snap yet and is battling this year and it doesn't look like he will make into the rotation...but next year he will be a 4th year junior and will probably play....btw I disagree about Floydd...word in Gainesville is that he is a factor down there right away...granted that is just little ole UF and not the mighty buckeyes.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:07am #

sorry for being a complete loser and trolling

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:08am #

You missed the part about how Ohio people don't tip worth a shit in restaurants. Remember....20% if the service is good!

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:09am #

Obviously you didn't read what I said, I said that I wasn't whining, and again, if you looked at my post you would see where I said no one has said Saban was breaking any NCAA rules. My point was that the recruiting sites give credit for having larger classes. This is not news.

So basically Saban goes and signs recruits other people want so they can't have them, then he gets rid of the ones from the year before he has no use fo anymore, or he knows they may not qualify, but by the time all that has been sorted out his rivals have moved on and won't get the guy he didn't want them to have. That's basically how I understand oversigning. It's not breaking rules, I just wouldn't want my kid to be someones pawn like that.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:12am #

No problem bamamatt, you are a breath of fresh air on this otherwise boring forum. Honestly, I get tired of the constant buckeye worship and finally get to hear some insight from someone who knows a little about football. Come back anytime and Roll Tide Roll!

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:13am #

Don't worry we won't be recruitiing your kid...there...you're dilemma is solved!

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:15am #

I've never assumed other people don't have good players, the whole argument that we started 3 days ago was that Ohio State doesn't need the kid. So maybe some of us think the world is going to end, but most everyone else isn't too bothered by it. Losing out on Braxton Miller would be a big deal. Missing Doran Grant would suck pretty bad. Those were must have guys, Depriest wasn't.

I also never said Floyd wasn't going to be a good player or great for that matter, I was saying that Hankins is going to be a really good player. Again, with depth at the D-Line it's not likely Floyd would've seen the field too often this year. It's not that Floyd isn't good because he went to FLorida, it's that Ohio State got a guy who probably will end up being not much different than Floyd. You can agree with that or not, I really don't care either way

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:16am #

Amazing how none of these kids coulf see the field at the Big Bad Buckeyes and yet they can get in the rotation at Bama and UF...man you are ridiculous. Man, you guys are going to tear through everyone like tissue paper this year....hope we lose a couple so we don't have to run into that bunch!

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:22am #

Could you shoot one over of Woody so I can recipricate!LOL. I got to go to bed soon but this has been fun. I have been invited to go to a buckeye game this year so I am going to have to go incognito.

jdm on 31 July 2010 - 1:23am #

well i wouldn't tip very well either if the restaurant i was eating in didn't have a ban on smoking. that second hand smoke never goes well with my food.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:24am #

Again that's not what I said, but look at the D-line for Ohio State. For Floyd to have seen the field this year for meaningful minutes would mean that he is an NFL ready D-lineman out of highschool. Because he would have to be better than NFL type talent that's already in place. The D-line is loaded here this year. The linebacking corps is loaded. I dont think I'm off base by saying a Freshman D-lineman or Linebacker would have to be a really special talent to see the field this year.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:27am #

You should go they are fun. I live about 2 hours from Columbus in Kentucky, I try to make it up to at least a game every year. This year I'm going to go out to Iowa for the game too.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:35am #

Yeah, definitely want to check out that scene. Place looks nuts on television...going to Tuscaloosa for the Penn State game so I can't go to the Miami game which I was invited...going to look at the schedule and see...my friends are from Ohio and are OSU alumni and go pretty often.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 1:40am #

I realize that brian. The Bucks defense up front will be stout but don't underestimate what the gators have up front as well....I will be very interested to see how they play early this year...October 2 is a huge game for us and even though we beat them last year they have owned us recently other than that. Hoping that Bama can take the next step and by that I mean consistently in the top 5 and competing for a NC. That would make me happy. As you can see I'm a huge Tide fan and it was very frustrating to be in the wilderness for so long. Fun to be relevant again. I'll give you the last word but in all sincerity good luck to the bucks this year...I like the program despite my antics to stir things up. I like the site though and will check back from time to time.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:45am #

You should go to the Penn State game lol. That'll probably be the best home game other than Miami, and Michigan, that's always a huge game no matter how bad or good either team is.

Brian on 31 July 2010 - 1:47am #

Again, I just don't see where Floyd would have seen any playing time this year. At Florida I don't know what their situation is, but I know at Ohio State, there's no way any of the D-Line sits for a Freshman this year. Maybe he sees some mop up time, but would never see impactful minutes.

White Chicks for Black ... on 31 July 2010 - 2:20am #

Depriest is a high profile Mike Marrow type of player that will need a few seasons to break into anyones line up.

Missing the frame and explosiveness to make an immediate impact at OSU, Alabama, or top tier BCS schools.

Olentangy on 31 July 2010 - 2:52am #

tough choice... nfl agents vs. buckeye family
hahah jk i wish the kid well... wish he was gonna be a buckeye but to each his own. i hope he made the right decision.

Chise67 on 31 July 2010 - 3:41am #

The kid never does "jump" off the film. Solid, always arond the ball,(from what was highlighted), but not someone who just jumps off the film.

Jordan Hicks, Part Duex!! (Red-shirt was imminent, & he knew it, especially if the rumors about either Sweat or Sabino being redshirted are true.)

Chise67 on 31 July 2010 - 3:48am #

See ya in the NC game, IF, your boys can navigate that schedule, & no recruiting violations come down.

NCAA is sniffing around, & if it looks like a Duck, quacks like a duck......., you know the rest, even in Alabama, right?

There is a reason 5 Star kids go to schools, even when they know they will sit the bench, & it ain't for the coachin'!!! Saban, Meyers, college footballs version of John Calipari. (It'll all come to the light, you & Bear Bryant will be sick!) That's why Nikki was tryin' to point the attention back at the NFL & agents. Just a matter of time once the NCAA starts digging. Not if, rather when. Enjoy, for now.

I don't care if we do not sign any lb's in 2011 class, just like rb situation. 2012 class is loaded at both positions 1 lb already verballed and 3 top rb's have osu as #1. Getting a verbal from Depriest would have been great as he would be a fine addition to any team. I wish him the best and hope he stays healthy and gets a quality education. We can not land all of the top in state talent because there is so much, coach saban knows this, why do you think he recruits ohio so hard.

buckeyedude on 31 July 2010 - 8:45am #

These kids want two things:

1.) They want to go where they have a chance to play as soon as possible. Ohio State is loaded with LBs.

2.) They want to go where they know they have a chance at winning championships. I think DePriest's choice was more an issue of picking Saban, than it was Alabama.

One can see this phenomenon everywhere. Even in high school. A team wins a championship, and EVERYONE wants to play there.

And what is the reason for Bama fans coming onto an Ohio State website? Are you guys a bunch of pricks or what?

buckeyedude on 31 July 2010 - 8:52am #

The fact that this kid was a Michigan fan growing up tells me a lot. If Virginia Tech had won the MNC last year and Saban was there, that's probably where DePriest would be, not Bama.

Im moving on. Tired of the "our weather, culture, politics, girls, etc," is better than Ohio,

I hope Penn State handles business. "Go BigTen"! LOL!. See what they've done to me? Turned me into a hater.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 10:30am #

We'll be fine.....The Dareus situation is not going to even result in a suspension because the kid did nothing wrong.....the text book issue came before Saban....and I got news for you kids at every university on an athetic scholarship do that for spending money....Saban runs a clean program and he self reports just like he is supposed to...As for the NC game...I guess we both have to navigate our schedule to get there...don't we?....it just dawned on me why you guys hate Saban....Didn't he wreck one your dream seasons....1997 or was it 1998?...lol...get over it...move on...let it go....serenity now...

Pam, you're really starting to grow on me....I know...I know...but you'll come around.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 10:35am #

I love how you guys have this myopic view that a kid goes down to Bama where they have the best linebacking unit in the SEC without one single senior on it and the explanation is "he can't see the field here but there he will" Give me a break...Stop living in the past. He will wait his turn at Bama unless he is a freak...and only time will tell if that is the case. We also signed 5 star Brent Calloway at linebacker in this class as well.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 10:40am #

Do you people even know how to read? Read up on the Dareus situation and you wil find it was typical overblown media coverage that disappears as soon as the story dries up....he did nothing wrong...the story is over.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 10:41am #

Don't know who those other people are....give me a little credit...if I was using multiple screen names I could be much more creative with the conversations.

Sorry Pam...lost it for a second...the dareus situation has me on pins and needles...Sorry if I have offended anyone...there is a lot of pressure being a fan of the returning champs and it makes me say things I wouldn't ordinarily say...You people are actually a lot of fun and very good natured....I'm actually attending a game up there is this year...but I will have to go incognito at this point..lol...how is the tailgate up there...my friends say it it great...i've been to Penn State and that is the only big ten stadium I have seen...they are very friendly there.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 10:54am #

Shock-G on 31 July 2010 - 10:57am #

Random name of a 3* kid who redshirted last year and was a more formidable running back than linebacker in high school.

I know Mike and his family ... great people but my personal opinion is that it was Vince Marrows relationship with Saban that landed Mike at 'Bama than anything else. Don't get me wrong, kid is talented and all but me thinks he doesn't see the field there.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 10:58am #

Well see...I was right then...I know the gators have him in your sights...I hope you guys get him then...I don't want to see him go to UF. We are recruiting him as well...but he is a long shot at best.

Personally, I think this is too much jibber-jabber over one player. If this kid had decided on Ohio State instead of Bama, the conversation would be reversed, EXCEPT, I don't think there would be any(I hope) Buckeye fans in on some Alabama website, talking trash.

It's called, "act like you've been there before." Not sure exactly who coined that phrase the first time. Lou Holtz? Help me out Buckeyes.

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 2:45pm #

Moron? I would venture to say that I do significantly better on standardized testing than let's say...you...depriest is grauduating early and enrolling in January...I'd say that one is pretty much locked down...As for Calloway he is from Alabama and has been a tide fan all his life. I keep thinking I am done with you people and then another one comes along and sucks me back in!

bamamatt on 31 July 2010 - 2:46pm #

I guess I should say "a verbal commit" instead of "signed" since you want to be technical.

buckeyedude on 31 July 2010 - 2:46pm #

You call Bamamatt's comments "insight?" Sounds like the same 'ol, same 'ol Buckeye bashing to me. Whether it comes from Florida fans, LSU fans or Bama fans.

Isn't this a Buckeye website, dickhead? We freaking SUPPOSED to worship the Buckeyes!

Maybe you'd enjoy the Crimson Tide website, since you "Roll Tide Roll" so well?

My brother was stationed in Huntsville, Alabama back in the 1980's at Redstone Arsenal as a US Marine. He said "I get so tired of hearing that song "Sweet Home Alabama," that I decided to become an Auburn fan. Horribly annoying.

Chise67 on 1 August 2010 - 8:26am #

Dareus situation as yet to be determined. 2nd, if your squad is so "good", & "clean", why always try to justify it? Control issues? If man is dog's best friend, your dog has a serious problem.

But let's talk football. 'Bama is just getting back to a National conversation recently, & you act like you've been ruling the NCAA forever. Navigating both our schedules, that's where we differ. We have TOTAL DOMINANCE over our conference, where you are not so certain, are ya? C'mon, you can teel me, I won't throw it up in your face later, I promise.

But that recruiting thing that bugs ya so much. Once it starts smoking', it generally bursts into flames a little later. Just the facts of investigations. I hope you don't get it, because it'll be the kids who come later who suffer, not the one's who did it. Ah-La Reggie Bush/USC.

bamamatt on 1 August 2010 - 9:25am #

there is no recruiting problems...you are manufacturing that....dareus is not a "recruit..he is already on the team...he has already produced all the documentation for the trip as far as who paid for it..he paid for himself....He went to a party and when he saw what was going on he left...You are correct that we can't claim dominance over our conference...because let's face it...the SEC is a better conference from top to bottom. BCS Bowl record...SEC is 14-5 and the Big Ten is 10-11. You are correct...we were not relevant as often during the last decade as we had been used to on the past...let's say the 70s,80s and 90s and long before....we have an eqivilant tradition to OSU...I never said you guys weren't any good...I just take exception to the clowns on here that say Depriest went to Bama because he knew "he wouldn't see the field" at Ohio State" or that he has a better chance to play...or whatever...considering Bama has the preseason number one ranking in the SEC at the LB position and the unit is very young with very talented players waiting behind them...that's all.

bamamatt on 1 August 2010 - 9:27am #

Hee hee...nice...anyway...nice blog...you guys write some interesting articles.

bamamatt on 1 August 2010 - 9:31am #

Now Chise...don't twist my words on this either...I never said that the Bucks and others couldn't hang in the SEC...they could...but they wouldn't be owning it either...I think their record against that conference pretty much supports my argument.

bamamatt on 1 August 2010 - 9:47am #

No, this guy "Brian" is a good guy who posts on here regularly. Don't disparage him.
