It's been a hell of a weekend and it's going to take some kind of awesome to top the first two games. The bad blood between the two teams adds some spice, as does the opportunity to complete the Big Ten's first full house, so we certainly have a chance.

I think both teams are tired today and you're seeing it. As for the NCAA tourney, they're going to be fine. Four guys can put solid points up and the Lauderdale/Madsen combo is efficient.
Plus, all of these Big Ten teams are familiar with each other. Third matchup in the last six weeks sometimes.
He's shot well from 3 in this tourney, 37 foot game-winner excluded. If we defended the 3 as well as we shoot it sometimes, we'd be pulling away.
I shrivel a bit every time Turner takes a hard fall.

Turner looks sloppy out there. Like he doesn't want to be playing this game. Stop dribbling so damn much and be assertive. His handles are improved, but not that improved.
Loving how Smoof Buford is looking out there. This game is ours for the taking and Turner's lacksidasical attitude is not helping us.

Decent first half offensively, but the sloppiness is such an Achilles heel for this team. Lazy help D at times, and just sloppy sloppy handling of the ball (mostly The Villain)
Not complaining about a lead at half, and Minn is no slouch, but jeez. Should be more.

The lack of a good big man is the most scary thing to me. Lauderdale just doesn't cut it.
I also worry how the team just stands and watches ET when they need a basket. I understand he's the go to guy and does come through a lot, but it seems like no one else wants the ball. Which leads to too many forced shots from ET. Maybe I'm being too critical.
A lot will depend on the draw. Also the lack of depth is always a killer in the tourney.

The BT tourney is a fun event, but the selection committee makes its final decisions well before this game is over. They have a Minny wins scenario and a Minny loses scenario, but otherwise they've already put the picks "to bed." This year, it doesn't matter - Buckeyes would have been 2 seed if they had won the BT yesterday, but it's still annoying.

Turner's handle is actually pretty good these days, but at times he dribbles into places he shouldn't, and doesn't have as much savvy getting out of trouble as he does getting to the rim. Maybe he's just impatient.

I was thinking early. I don't remember seeing Turner ever really having trouble with a press. It seems most of his turnovers are from either overagressive dribbling or even more, going for the perfect pass.
I'll take any of the three excpet Kansas to be honest... Just please no Kansas, if G'Town gets a #2 seed (unbelievable with 10 losses) which I keep seeing, they should automatically get Kansas in their bracket because Kansas will be #1 overall
Yeah, would like to avoid Kansas, but the immediate need is Friday/Sunday, so I was trying not to be greedy. Would like to match-up against Duke and/or get Baylor as a 3 seed.

More I see, more I think that Ohio State's 6 man rotation might not hurt them. Our 4 starters at guard/forward are all big motor guys with lots of stamina, whereas some otherwise great ball players have weak stamina. When I was a kid, I couldn't play a lick, but I could run all day long, never get tired. We might have 4 guys who would excel at something like the Ironman competition.
