LeBeau In, Carter Snubbed

Congratulations to former Buckeye Dick LeBeau, as it was announced today he will be inducted into the National Football League Hall of Fame this summer. LeBeau, a London, Ohio native, was a cornerback and halfback on the 1957 National Championship team at Ohio State and went on to play and coach in the NFL, where he is currently the defensive coordinator for the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

On the other hand, what does Cris Carter have to do to get some love from the HOF?

Congrats to Coach, but I had a feeling CC was gonna get robbed again. He should've been in last year, but Jerry Rice and Emmit Smith where locks.

Someone give me a call when CC and Charles Haley, 5 time Super Bowl Winner, get in. The NFL Hall of Fame is both a Crock and not-well organized.

It's hard to think that Carter didn't get inducted last year. This year would be tough but jesus the NFL HOF inducts 30 people a year, you'd think he could get in.

I still can't belive it.

Eight people per year, but I am still pissed.

Carter should have been a first ballot hall of famer, and I dare someone to argue otherwise. His sometimes unsteady relationship with the media is the cause of the delay and it's absolutely absurd.

Does anyone know if a college has ever put 2 players into the hall in the same year? It wouldve been nice to see it this year. I'm surprised Andre Reed lasted longer than CC did in the voting. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Tim Brown get in before CC either even though I think Carters numbers are better. Oh well, hopefully next year

There are more important things than the Hall of Fame...like making sure your kid is making grades so he can play ball next year.

My 30 people comment was obviously sarcasm. Any league that has a set requirement for players inducted each year, doesn't care about the integrity of their HOF. There are some years where there aren't 8 people worthy.

That being said, with the ballot being what it was the last 2 years, how coulud Carter not get voted in.

In 2010, Pittsburgh did. Rickey Jackson and Russ Grimm.
