College football is filled with passionate fans. That of course, is understating things quite a bit, but nothing tops the Vol fan that, despite having a gun pulled on him by a member of the Tennessee football geam, still wants to see the player lacing them up on Saturdays:
Corey B. Zickefoose, 20, said he was sitting in the driver's seat of a 1998 Hyundai Elantra on Cumberland Ave. when one of the players pulled a gun and demanded money.
But that's not enough to prevent the players from being kicked off the team, he told 6 News.
"I think they should still be able to play football, regardless," he said. "Tennessee is my place. It's my football team."
"Even after they put a gun in your face, you say let them play football?" 6 News asked.
"Yeah, it's Tennessee. That's the way it is sometimes," Zickefoose said.

I've had a gun pulled on me before, but common sense tells you the yielder isn't ready for 25-life. If I were the driver I would have grabbed the gun, sped off and dumped it in a lake. Also, I most certainly would not be a fan anymore.

Life imitates art. This is like the plot of a movie called Big Fan, where a NY Giants fan gets his ass kicked by the star Giants WR (Plaxico?). But he doesn't press charges because he wouldn't be able to play Sunday.
I live in Knoxville, and it has been all over the radio, obviously the last 2 days. Funny thing is, it wasn't even a real gun, it was a pellet gun!!! These guys are total dumbasses, and hopefully will be kicked out of the program. Only one is a real factor on the team currently, and he is a badass, he can seriously play some defense. He hits just as well as eric berry, and most people say he is a better overall player. I think berry has been hyped quite a bit anyway. But anyway thats the scoop, it wasn't even a real gun...just a pellet gun. Very funny.
