    Oh,boy. Too early.

    • matt in cleveland says:

never ever too early to hate that school if you wanna call it that… more of a jvs without the autobody classes.. heard taint is majoring in hair care…

  2. Kyle says:

    World’s largest toilet. Impressive.

  3. NorCal Buckeye says:

Is that a high school stadium?

“Fielding Yost hung his hat on this rusty nail right here!”

Tools. Congrats for digging your “stadium” into where a trash heap was.

(insert favorite Dead Schembechlers lyric here….)

Haven’t you guys been watching Flash Forward? That’s from Mosaic. /lazyjokemonday

quick question – if a tree falls in the forest and the hippie does not hear it, does it make a sound?

    • Josh_Alum says:

lol, I don’t buy the hippie’s “I would have heard about it” but common sense says DickRod made progress, he’s too expensive to drop, and his D-coordinator has only been there one year, with admittedly recognized second tier talent in his secondary.
I think he’s got 3 more seasons before Jim Tressel Coopers him out of a job.
But.. for the good of the big ten, I think that settles in nicely with what Brian Kelly wants. I don’t see him taking the ND job, and we need coaches like him in the big 10.

      • matt in cleveland says:

i could care less about how long dickrod is at that jvs, i want a curbstomping sat! ! !

      • Brian says:

I was thinking this as I read it, I’m sure someone in the Athletic department always clears all information with him first. The best thing about is, the first comment says they think it’s great that someone who works so hard like the hippie is thought so highly of. So I guess I can start my own blog and say, trust me I would know. How are his claims that he would know anything any different than Mike Wilbon’s? It’s not so much that DickRod has lost, it’s that he’s cause an enormous bit of controversy up there. Scoffing at rivalaries not being a big deal, having a huge wave a transfers and defectors, former and current players turning him in for long practice hours. Not to mention the fact that Michigan ended up paying West Virginia their money back that DickRod owed them. The guy is a clown and everything about him has made Michigan look bad. I love it, it was the perfect hire they made up there.

    • Brian says:

I love how they keep blaming Lloyd Carr for Rodriguez sucking. Seriously, last year Michigan would not have won only 3 games with Carr, and this year they would have a phenominal talent at QB in Mallet. I do laugh every time I see a loss, because had Carr not been forced out this team would be in much better shape. I love the idea of DickRod getting 5 years.

Why do they all love Les Miles so much? I know he won a championship but he was handed a full cupboard and constantly keeps in state recruits as well as Texas recruits who are very good. I’m just no convinced Miles is this great savior. They were bad last year and this year they aren’t much better, they just have played 2 teams all year. They are about the same as Penn State and Wisconsin. I do fear Brian Kelley up there, but if they wait 3 more years, Kelley will be on his way somewhere else.

      • GO BLUE says:

Sorry to ruin the hate parade, but Mallet was gone no matter if Carr or Rodriguez was coaching.

        • southbaybuckeye says:

If I were Mallet, I woulda left too. Arkansas > scUM

        • A Bag of Doritos says:

haha. mallet was going to forgo the opportunity to start at michigan to follow a new coach at a mediocre program? either you are full of doo doo, or the academic standards in AA are a mirage bc that is an immensely stupid decision.

          • southbaybuckeye says:

Mallet was too fast to stay in AA

            ;)

          • A Bag of Doritos says:

too fast and he was not sure he could beat out nick sheridan.

          • southbaybuckeye says:

            haha.

as soon as he moved south he shaved .5 sec off his 40 times… without additional training. it’s science, it’s a fact

          • Brian says:

I saw the post on MGo Blue about that. It was Brian again saying he had it on good word. The same things he attacked Wilbon for saying. Seriously, do you think the guy really is in the know at the program. Knowing he runs a blog, no one that is in the athletci department would tell him anything knowing he’s going to run and put it online. I have it on good authority that he’s full of shit.

          • GO BLUE says:

Well seeing as you back your position up with terms like doo doo you must be right. The fact of the matter is Carr wans’t high on Mallet’s attitude and it’s been known that Mallet had several run-ins off the field with the upperclassmen. Albeit those upperclassmen were Jake Long and Mike Hart who were leaving.

Plus, players transfer for all sorts of different reason. It isn’t just black and white as you state it to be. Sometimes players transfer because they don’t want to have to work as hard as others, or they don’t like to run a no huddle offense meaning they’d have to hustle up to the line of scrimmage each play. For example see OSU OL Boren.

          • A Bag of Doritos says:

ding ding ding, brian gets the award!

that was the first thing i thought, “why would the athletic department let a gossipy little girl be in the know. if he knows, everyone knows.” but, he does spin the company line to the delight of his merry band of sycophants, so maybe he is in the know.

i can’t decide which is correct.

          • A Bag of Doritos says:

oh my word GO BLUE, i can’t handle the force of that argument. i give in. the depth and insight of a michigan man is too much.

          • southbaybuckeye says:

sometimes players transfer because they don’t want to go down with a sinking ship

          • GO BLUE says:

Haha so I’m a trol for stating my opinion? I didn’t come on here bashing anybody, or even looking for a fight. I made one statment and immediately 3 followed. Why don’t we just nail me to the cross because of our difference of opinion.

          • southbaybuckeye says:

i’ve just been waiting to use that video honestly. haha

also, please respond in one place/thread. makes things easier on us simple ohio farmers.

          • A Bag of Doritos says:

that SOB pontius pilate has struck again!

        • matt in cleveland says:

oh its a hate parade u should plant trees on 75 so we can march in
the shade… who cares about mullet… i question his decision making
abilty anyways for going there in the first place at least in going to arkansas
it was a step up in education…

          • GO BLUE says:

Ya I’m done with you all. My last question to you all is how can you praise Boren so much? To me the guy can’t be trusted and him sighting family values as the reason he left is a crock of BS. What kind of family value message does that send out about him? He leaves his school after a few years and goes to the rivals because it was a sinking ship? That sounds exactly like the guy I would want running my offensive line. When things get tough he just packs up and leaves. Sounds like a true man to me.

          • GO BLUE says:

And a bag of doritos this is to your last comment: oh my word BAG OF DORITOS, i can’t handle the force of that argument. i give in. the depth and insight of an ohio man is too much.

          • matt in cleveland says:

the fricken toll troll fantastic!!!!!!!!! lmao!!!!!!!!!!

          • Mike says:

Don’t really see why you guys need to rip on Boren so much. It seems to be pretty well documented that Rich Rod has a much more aggressive style that cut quite a few players other than Boren the wrong way. Maybe he should have stayed quiet about it, but that doesn’t mean the guy lacks character. You get recruited to play for one guy you love and he gets replaced by a guy who just pisses you off… don’t see why not to transfer.

I also hate the need to rip on Carr so much. He gave you a national championship and some really, really good teams. He finished even or one loss below even in The Rivalry. RichRod hasn’t done jack for you yet, but his conditioning is *so* amazing compared to the program that produced a number 1 draft pick on the O-line the year before and top notch defenses every year.

I mean, good luck to you on RR turning things around, but from the outside the program really didn’t look like it needed that much turning to begin with. Carr may have lost his magic vs OSU, but every one of those games was hard fought down to the end, not a 42-7 embarrassment.

          • GO BLUE says:

If Boren wanted to leave for the reasons you stated than he shouldn’t have bashed Rich Rodriguez stating family values as the reason.

I never said anything bad about Carr, but I know there are UM fans that do. OSU has those fans, and I tell those fans I’ll take Tress as my coach any day. He’s done a lot to make your program what it is today, and everyone should be grateful for that. So he plays conservative Tressel ball, but he wins. Granted it can be boring for me to watch at time, but its better than the circus entertainment that we broadcast.

Comparing the two strength and conditioning programs between Carr and RR is hard to do at this point. Yes, you can say look at Jake Long, but the fact of the matter is that guy is a genetic freak (not taking anything away from his hard work in the weight room.)

There is no doubt in my mind that RR can’t turn the offense around, but many doubts are starting to creep in about the defense. We’ll see what Robinson can do. Please refrain from posting he coached at Syracuse and they sucked so he is garbage posts because that is pointless. The guy coached a Super Bowl champ Broncos team. Ya ya he had superior talent. I’ll wait to see if they can recruit and use some superior talent before i call for his head.

          • NorCal Buckeye says:

I thought Go Blow was done posting? I thought he said “last one” but followed it up immediately with another.

Man, they’re displacing all the frustration of a horrible program onto this “rivalry”.

            M means Moron!

          • GO BLUE says:

Funny thing is NorCal I figured one of you had to be a dick. Congrats not giving any opinions or facts about football and just attacking me personally! Keep building that character.

  7. Kansas City Buckeye says:

I have never listened to Chris Speilman on the radio. I live in kansas City and up until today, I never thought to stream it in my office.

I love this guy!!! Boy is he laying into the negativity of the fans.

    • Brian says:

Kudos to him for it too! I was listenning to the radio on the way home from Columbus and some idiot actually said fire Tressel and send him and Pryor to Cincinnati, we’ll take Kelley and Collaros. I mean c’mon are you doing to fire the guy who just had his team win another big 10 championship.

  8. Michigan Buckeye says:

I too fear Brian Kelley. They screwed up by not getting him 2 years ago. What I think is the funniest thing about TSUN’s team is that they have fallen apart in the second half of every game they have been in. Is it conditioning or the coaches not making adjustments? Either way it’s that homo Barwis or RRod. Hopefully he sticks around for 3 more years!!!!!

    • Michigan Buckeye says:

Obviously they didn’t spend enough time in the weight room last summer.

      • bucksfanxc says:

No one would know that just from looking at them. You’d have to check the log book……

        • southbaybuckeye says:

Tate Forcier is entering the 2011 World’s Strongest Man Competition sponsored by MetRX.

  9. RBuck says:

    Hate hat is on.

Muhammad Ali once said “Larry Holmes?! Larry Holmes?! I call him peanut head!

I say “Tate Forcier?! Tate Forcier?! I call him pretzel boy”.

  10. Scott K says:

I have to say that the layout on that uM blog is the worst piece of garbage I’ve come across in quite some time. That said, please discontinue posting links to it here. It hurts my eyes…and my head.

This site, however, is well laid out, easy to read, and chock full of goodness.

Thank you 11W, you guys rock.

    • GO BLUE says:

To be honest…….I second that, but am wondering If I’m allowed to. Please, reply with troll troll and we hate you scUM, and something about Brian being a hippie.

      • southbaybuckeye says:

come on, the troll toll was funny. can’t you take a joke?

        but seriously,

you almost fall in to definition 1. but, you’re doing it wrong.

        http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=troll

oh, almost forgot, hippie, scUM, etc etc. have a nice day :)

        • GO BLUE says:

Ya I’m taking it all as jokes. As fans we shouldn’t take it to seriously. I’ll give you a free pass if you’re a student but even me a few years removed I just can’t get upset anymore. To much other stuff to worry about in Detroit than Michigan being the suck of all suck.

  11. bucksfanxc says:

Not to distract from the hate, but anybody hear about this Big Game Bob to ND talk?

    • southbaybuckeye says:

yeah, i heard about it last week for the first time. I thought it was kind of ridiculous. I think he’d be their 2nd choice at best behind Meyer and maybe Kelly.

      • Brian says:

I heard Charlie Weis has a $10 million dollar buyout? If that is correct, I’m not so sure that Notre Dame gets rid of him after this year. I think if they do, however, Urban Meyer is the man this time. He is losing so much and has nothing left to prove at Florida.

        • southbaybuckeye says:

he would replace Ty Willingham as the highest paid person at ND at that point.

I’m just saying that a buyout wouldn’t stop them since they’ve done it before.

          • Brian says:

I think it would be quite scrutinized though with the current state of the econoomy. It may be overstated but 10 mil is a lot of money to just give away. Maybe not, but I’m thinking they’ll give him that last year. However, if Claussen jumps ship, what does he have that will make anything better? I don’t know. I just can’t see the ND faithful being happy with another coach who hasn’t been at the highest level of success. They are going to make a play for some big time coaches before they go after Kelley, and the guy at Georgia Tech.

        • NorCal Buckeye says:

I heard it was an $18 million buy-out, but the total cost will be around $38-48 million when it’s all said and done. That’s a LOT of money, even for ND.

          • Brian says:

Wow, that’s quite a contract. I guess it’s one way to get the NFL and bigger schools from stealing your coach, but you better make sure that coach is the one. He only has on season left right?

          • NorCal Buckeye says:

$18 million after a half season, he must have had dirt on someone. The AD should get shot for agreeing to that.

  12. Buckeyeholicwompa says:

Trust me when I say this. I want to win this game against TSUN this Saturday but there would be nothing more that I would love to see Pryor “step into manhood” and direct a game winning touchdown drive in Ann Arbor. See Troy Smith 2005.

    • matt in cleveland says:

Pryor will direct a game winning drive in that toilet bowl of a stadium it will just be in the first quarter. hard to make it a game winner when the other team isnt going to score at all….

    • Brian says:

Me too, but let’s just let the game winning drive also be the first drive of the game lol.

  13. Scott K says:

This is for all da “hippies” in the house. Hilarious, and amazing:

“One time I covered first base, and I caught the ball and I tagged the base all in one motion, I said: Oooo, I just made a touchdown!”

      Good stuff!

  14. Matt says:

    http://mgoblog.com/content/monday-presser-notes-11-16-09

The Michigan players are talking some mad shit about Justin Boren. I think that is just bad for business. The last thing you want to do is fire up the Buckeyes, and they are going to rally around Justin, and Zach. I can’t wait to see Zach light up Graham, who is admittedly a beast, and any other turrible Michigan linebacker who gets in his way. Don’t mess with family, or family values.

I really hope Boren gets named a captain, and leads the team out onto the field.

    • iball says:

Fuck Michigan. Actually, if their gonna shitcan RR, this is the year to do it. Don’t remember a time when there were so many good caoches prime for the taking.

      Chris Peterson
      Jim Harbaugh
      Bronco Mendenhall
      Brian Kelly

just to name a few, anyone of those would worry me a little.
