No offense? No problem. Ohio State used special teams and defensive mojo to cruise to a 31-13 victory. John Clay leaves Columbus with but 59 yards on 20 carries. Terrelle Pryor is nowhere near where we want/need/must have him, but regardless: winner, winner, chicken dinner...
Now we go big. Ride, ride, ride...

our defense looked so good that i really just want to blame all of our offensive problems on our sick o-line just so i can feel really good about this game
That song brings back memories of my senior year in high school and my first job at Massey's Pizza.
NATHAN WILLIAMS!!!!
That is all.
next week we need a victory song that takes me back to MY senior year of high school, something like rock your body by justin timberlake or get low by lil john.
actually, no, takin a ride works fine.
or ogre battle
What year are you talking about? I'll find something appropriate.
Don't know what year he's talking about but if you can find something from 2002, that would be awesome.
Does C. Krenzel have any years of eligibility left?
Is Pryor a senior yet?
Dude looks awful.
i graduated high school in 2003, but i'm a classic rock fan so i'm fine either way
2003? How about "Seven Nation Army"? Would that take you back?
OSU d-line: ents
OSU LBs: huorns
OSU secondary: fangorn forest
all which comprise an impenetrable maze of darkness and pain from which there is no escape
HELL YES, seven nation army would be perfect, why we don't use that for kickoffs anymore is beyond me
I think OSU may be in trouble with Pryor as the Starting QB. His decision making looked worse than at any other time of the year and he buckled under pressure. He had open receivers and did not check down to them... he locked onto one guy (Mostly Posey) and if he wasnt open he panicked..... that is not good 6 games into the season. Pryor is regressing and he is not running with authority... I am not ready to push the panic button yet, but things better change fast or the season is gonna go down the tubes quickly. Kudos to the D for 2 Td's to bail him out and Ray Ray to cut their hearts out !!!!!!!!!!!
2009 Defense = 2002 good
2009 Offense = 2002 bad
I thought you were like forty, B3. Take that as you will.
yiiiikkeeesss
okay, some hilarious stats from this game:
118 rushing yards for the badgers. on 44 attempts. 2.7 per carry
BUT hey, 250 yards passing for bucky, that's good right? except when you go 27-45 for 5.6 yards per pass, and then it's just funny
wiscy had 22 first downs. OSU, 8
TOP, 42:03 badgers, 18:05 OSU. good Lord
wisconsin ran 99 offensive plays. we ran 40.
and we covered the spread.
...........but you have to figure in all the Hidden yards..... 90 yds for Ray Ray's Kickoff return, and roughly 130?? yds for 2 int TD's..... that adds over 220 yds and the ball back to Wisky after 1 play.... very misleading stats..... looks bad on paper though
well right, but the stats are funny because they're misleading. if you look at that stat line without looking at the score, OSU gets destroyed. instead we won by 18
I love it... it makes it all the more embarrasing for Bielema.... his seat is getting warmer.... easy to be 5-0 when you play a list of cupcakes.
Yep. What's your favorite pie?
I like what you did there. So does Tressel = Gandalf? Cause I can totally see him going up to Pryor before the next game and saying "You shall not pass!"
These cartoon boobs are far more impressive and fun to watch than the OSU offense was today.
Of course, my information is only good if they haven't changed anything in the last 25 years.
Haha, just the traditional pepperoni. No need to vary it up when the original is so damn good.
What about "I Believe In a Thing Called Love"? That jam is perfectly '03. Other ideas include "I Like The Way You Move", "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight", or "99 Problems".
hahahahahahaha
yesss
Dorky comparison, guys.
Fickell and Heacock would then be Merry and Pippin, yes?
yeah, and hazell is samwise.
brent musburger is tom bombadil, speaking in riddles no one understands
Excellent. A+ material.
Is Mark May Sauron?
Mark May is the Mouth of Sauron. The entire SEC is Sauron.
I love Adriatico's...soooooo money!
Another good campus pizza: Hound Dogs, up off of Dodrige, north of Lane. Bit of a dive, so carryout is highly recommended.
Yup...I'm with with you Hound Dogs i.e. Smokin Joes!
ray small is the king of the army of the dead
Smoking Joe's style is the real best pizza. In OR out. They have an awesome karaoke, I forget what night exactly.
Winner
Wait wait wait - 2002 we had a totally clutch qb, and an incredible running back, although you might be repressing that memory... We were good enough to win the MNC that year. This year, not so much. Defense is wicked good though.
I'm pissed that he sucks so bad. I'm sick of getting calls from my obnoxious friend in PA telling me Daryl Clark is better and HE'S F-ING right!!!!!!! Pryor is worried about developing into an NFL QB? He's not good enough to be a college QB.
Adriatico's is #1. I could eat it everyday and never get tired of it. Hound Dogs is awesome too. I was in there one night at 3:00 am and people were lined up waiting for a seat. It's a little greasy but it tastes great.
Sheeeeit our offense sucked plain and simple. It was just barely good enough to win against any defense that was dead and still warm. Krenzel was clutch but he wasn't a good quarterback - a good football player yes. They're the reason I have a hard time watching games from that year - I can't stay awake. Tressel ball is as much to blame as the players though. Our defense was brutal and I heart them forever. This years defense looks great but I still want to see them against a proven team. USC was a bit young and one dimensional.
That's what she said!
no love for cat fish biffs? as an alum that spent his freshman year on south campus, biffs was great. especially at 3AM
adriaticos is so damn good too though...
Anyone remember the Flying Tomato Pizza that used to be across from Long's Bookstore??? I was bummed they closed down... Came back for sophomore year... and it was gone... Dang...
Large pepperoni at Massey's was pretty straightforward: pound out the dough, sauce it with 1.5 ladles, 6-7 slices of mozzarella, then cover it with pepperoni and sprinkle oregano on top. Back when I worked there Massey's got their pepperoni whole and sliced it up in the shop. I think the vendor was Tedeschi's or something like that. The sauce is just crushed tomatoes and water. I have no idea how they make the dough because it was already made by the time I came in. I know that Donato's uses flour, yeast, and eggs, mixes in some vegetable oil and water and mixes it all up, then let's it rise. Pretty standard stuff and I'd be surprised if Massey's does anything different.
For what it's worth, I also love Adriatico's, but I'm still mourning the demise of Street Scene back in the 90's. They had the best Chicago style pizza in Columbus.
